This is one of the most fun and delicious experiences I have ever had. There was an epic DJ playing music while we ate. Every bit of the food was amazing, pretty much life changing. My partner and I were almost crying over the brussel sprouts and the sweet potato cheese cake. This place literally made our night. Highly, highly recommend, the staff are sweet and major props to our waitress for helping with my partners allergies, and being kind as hell!

Awesome food class learning simple adaptable vegan meals with this vivacious Detroit businesswoman. We learned how to make 4 delicious meals: a peach cobbler smoothie; a breakfast burrito; unstuffed peppers, pictured; and a power wrap dessert. She also runs a vegan meal delivery service; in-dining lunch and brunch (check hours, which vary seasonally; and does pop ups, as she will at Little Caesar’s Arena for the NFL draft, serving up the smoothie we tried. Plus you’ll learn how to limit salt and fat; how to make meals for a couple days; and can sip adult beverages if you’d like.

Love is Delicious Starks

Waited for 50 minutes and I call ahead, uggg! Had the Italian grill sandwich it was absolutely wonderful, that was like one of the best sandwiches ever. But… the gumbo to go in a cup- nooo , it wasn’t a piece of meat in that cup. The flavor was good, but hardly no vegetables either, and I guess that was a scoop of rice- it looked like a sticky rice ball. Wouldn’t order that again. The sweet potato cheesecake and apple cake deliciousness!!! Go if you get a chance. I’m going to give it 1 more try. That sandwich deserves it.

Nice welcome as you walk in the door. Very friendly staff and the owner was even more personable. I love that she interacts with customers! Que even brought us two free samples of the Gumbo. It was good! I had the Roasted Mushroom Sandwich, it was very tasty. My husband ordered the Fish sandwich, but they mistakenly brought him the Hot Italian sandwich. Great mistake because we got to try that sandwich for free and then they brought him his original order, which my husband loved. Both of us had a side salad with Vidalia onion dressing-really good. I had the Cinnamon Roll for dessert, which was really good!

I had the pleasure of cooking and dining here during a 24 person corporate work event. Quiana and her professional staff were absolutely amazing. I am new to veganism and this place had it all from the Mac & “Vegan” Cheese to the Panko bread crumb “Vegan” chicken this place was second to none. I loved the atmosphere and the positive vibes all around. Oh and you can enjoy a glass of wine or two while cooking, learning and enjoying the company of friends. This is now my MOST FAVORITE VEGAN SPOT IN DETROIT. Please go and show your support! Keep doing good in the community Quiana!!!All the best!

Food is amazing and the service is on point! I ordered the roasted mushroom sandwich unaware it had vegan cheese on it and I preferred it without, so the kitchen remade it for me ?? It was absolutely delicious ? Highly recommend the vitality smoothie made with sea moss, wheat grass, kale, moringa, matcha, Tumeric, ginger, peaches, mango, pineapple & almond milk. Got me right!! Forget Panera no shade lol, support The Kitchen by Cooking with Que?

This was a first time visit for my wife and I. We had a pleasant experience. The staff was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is comfortable and cozy. They have really good health conscious, reasonably priced menu options. And you get really nice sized portions. The food was really good, especially the Roasted Mushroom Sandwich (which my wife asked them to substitute a pretzel bun instead of the ciabatta bread. Delicious.) The Kimchi Hash, Loaded Creamy Grits, and the Apple Butter Pancakes w/ Oat Crumble were all really good as well. Also, the owner is kind and friendly. I loved her energy and how involved she is, and how she connects with the customers. She really makes you feel welcomed. This was a good experience, and we'll definitely be going back.Good job, crew!

It was a horrible experience. Got there by 12. Hours say open at 12.. Told they would open in 30 min. We got in about 1:00 then told the chef wasnt there so we could only order drinks. The waitress was very nice and did all she could. We got to order food about 1:30-45. Got chicken and waffles, chicken was good, but waffles with no butter. Hummm. Mac and cheese was delucious.Vegetarian options: Grits with cheese, the cheese wasnt melted and had no butter. Wgen asked about bytter we were told they ran out. We got there when it opened.Parking: We ask the restaurant if we could park out front, they said yes just pay the meter. We did and got a $45 ticket.
