The Alfredo was very well seasoned with real grated Parmesan cheese, real parsley and I added deep fried salmon. Dee-licious okayyy! I had a double shot of crown royal. The bartender disappeared for like 20 minutes. Said she was assisting another drunk coworker in the bathroom. I didn't need to hear that honestly. The only wine they have is the little sutter home mini wine bottles. However they do have a full bar. My friend got the salmon burger. They were out of buns but substituted with Texas toast. The ambiance is very chill. The DJ was playing all old school R&B which I enjoyed. I'll probably go early to avoid the crowds because that's just me. However the food did come out quick.

This will be my new spot to come to when I visit Detroit for good Music , drinks, and vibes . The service was great and the prices were reasonable, of course we had to get the lamp chops (those didn't make it for a photo) and the locals had me line dancing . Overall, it was great !

The service was terrible. The young lady who “waited” on our table could hardly be considered as attentive. We were told that the kitchen was closing soon and to order quickly. She still took almost 5 minutes to return to take our order.Each order came out separately and took at least 20 minutes from the first plate to the last. The waitress told me my steak bites took the longest because they have to marinate the meat before they cook it. ?The catfish and grits were good although the portion size was not matching the cost of the plate. It looked as if they cut a whole piece in half and placed it on a huge bowl of grits. She asked for a spoon for the grits but was told they couldn’t find one. When we asked for salt and pepper she brought out a mix of salt and pepper.The chicken and waffles was nothing to write home about. No butter. The chicken tasted like it was cooked in burnt old grease. And for whatever reason they put old wilted lettuce on the plate.The only thing worth having was the drink they call the Vixen.The waitress was so bad.. when she brought out each plate she would come back with silverware if she could locate it. She seemed to be more interested in serving other tables of men rather than me and my girls. Unfortunately for her she didn’t realize that we are great tippers who seek to empower women. She missed her blessings that day.For this to be a black owned business it’s sad to get this type of service. My friend had to go to the kitchen to get my silverware because the waitress blatantly dismissed my request to eat my food after the table had already eaten.The bill was over $100 and honestly was worth about $80 at best. They charged a 20% gratuity . So not worth it. I’m from Detroit and am visiting for a birthday weekend. I don’t recommend going here. The patio area was a mess and it kinda looked ran down inside. I should’ve anticipated the service I got.

DON'T ORDER FOOD. I took 1 bite of some SPOILED salmon and could immediately taste and SMELL how rank it was. I spit it out immediately, sent it back, ate the french toast, went home, and blew my entire guts out at 2am. Smh. Still got sick anyway. I wanna sue. CLOSE THIS PLACE DOWN ASAP.

My brother paid 700$ for a booth for his birthday and when we got there the OWNER was sitting in HIS BOOTH with a hookah and eating a meal WITH FRIENDS!! Cherry on top HE DIDNT MOVE!! My brother friends had to sit at the bar cause there wasn't any room CAUSE THE OWNER IS PRIDEFUL! The bottle girls had stinky attitudes too! Terrible service.*** This happened 3 years ago to my other brother! ??♀️

This is why before I trash an establishment, I try to visit at least twice. From being in the business, I know that every restaurant has their bad days so I do my best to be fair.Now with that being said, I have been here 3 times. I attended the first time to try them out, the second time (reluctantly) for my best friend's birthday brunch and then last night, because I was with some friends and was out voted on where we should go.Last night ( Halloween)was the last straw, I don't care who wants to go there or who is having an event there, until this place changes ownership again (usually every several years) I will NEVER cross the threshold again.My experiences: The pervasive attitude of the people who work here is "Either take what we give you or leave! " Bad energy across the board. Last night, we didn't even get to order any food because our servers attitude was so foul because of a mistake she made, I told my group that I was leaving.Previously the food I had was for the most part underwhelming. The lamb chops and lobster were both tough and overcooked. The lamb chops did have a great flavor to them but were too tough for me to enjoy. I've also had short ribs there and they were good but the sides were meh!!In my opinion, this place needs a complete overhaul. The decor is cool but that's about it.It seems to be a thing these days at alot of these types of spots that customer service is NOT a top priority! Overpriced food and drinks, snotty/attitudinal employees, mandatory gratituity for poor service, and inconsistent food...not the recipe of an establishment that cares about the people they serve!!
