Excellent pastries, familiar yet unusual. Friendly and helpful staff. Small but comfortable space. The grenada was superb. You can’t go wrong with any pick here.

We stopped in for something sweet after chasing the Nain. The sweets were amazing and the staff was friendly. Or possibly scared as we were in full costume still. Its on our list to return.

Very unimpressed. I’ve had this on my list of places to try and was incredibly disappointed by the resultsWhat I ordered and review:The smoked salmon pastry: pastry was overly dense and left the film on the roof of my mouth akin to boxed puffed pastry. Filling was poorly balanced and excessively saltyThe potato’s olive tagine pastry: this was good except that it came cold and there was no option to heat it up. You would think for a $13 pastry they would be able to get a toaster oven. Or maybe there was and it wasn’t offered? The hallwah chocolate chip cookie: an OK cookie. But also really nothing specialThe chocolate caramel financier: somehow this was neither chocolatey nor caramel y it kind of just tasted sweet and one note. Financiers are one of my favorites and this lacked the deep, layered flavors I expectA coffee: don’t say this often but I think Starbucks is better. Tasted like dishwater.Overall this place was absurdly over priced and clearly just banking off the James beard award without upholding any culinary standard that got them thereReally do not recommend

Delectable, Dynamic, and Down to earthWhen you first walk into Warda Patisserie, you are delighted by the salivating smells wafting from the kitchen and the delectable arrangements of pastries, leading your eyes (and stomach) further into the shop.Feasting first, with the eyes, you will notice that the flavor combinations on the pastries are out-of-the-ordinary (with a flavor to match). For example, Ube Flan, Yuzu Mousselline, and Mango Black Sesame Financiers, to name a few. I asked the staff about the inspiration for the flavors and was informed of Warda Bouguettaya's global pastry education. I even had the opportunity to meet her, as she was standing right behind me! For being an award-winning, critically acclaimed chef, her humility and centeredness spoke loudly!I was eager to try these treats and chose an item she recommended: her Ube Flan. It was an excellent balance of flavor, not too sweet, adorned with toasted coconut, and an excellent start to my Saturday. Also, the space, although intimate and close-quarters, was not loud for a Saturday morning. Every table was filled, but people were quick to enjoy their pastries and then get on with the rest of their day. With a friendly and knowledgeable staff, Warda's Patisserie should be a must-go if you are looking for delicious treats, a good way to start the weekend, or an excuse to treat yourself. Anyway, if you are looking for a superb bakery then look no further.

Warda Patisserie is so nice I visited twice! And I would have visited a third time if they were open on Mondays :). Everything I ordered was outstanding - a true delight. If you're wondering if the price and time are worth your stopping in, worry no longer.

Just OK and I made a trip to Midtown looking for something. Few choices and the lemon curd tart sounded perfect for the meal I had planned. Flavor was too subtle -- meaning it was almost

I almost gave up on this place. Then I came to the revelation that I’ve been going about it all wrong.Don’t come here expecting croissants, baguette etc.The Greek tarte is good don’t get me wrong. But it’s not ethereal.Enter today…it’s Sunday. I thought I deserve it. chocolate date and coffee mousse. DEAR LORD. A Mason jar is not enough. I could eat this by a tub. I’ll climb infinite stairmasters for this. Then I got slapped in the face by a special patisserie…dark chocolate “kiss”. I can’t even talk about it. It was too good. There’s so much more than the financiers, which are good but they don’t even scratch the surface.Let the desserts transport you to what earth shattering quality tastes like. It’s Not here for gimmicks. So grateful for this place.

First time trying the pastries. The egg tart wth brussel sprouts and flakey pastry was delicious as well as the Mango cheesecake. The Mango layer was not overpowering nor sweet, but still retained distinct flavor. The cheesecake was smooth and light but satisfyingly delicious. As the most famous iconic Filipino flavor, I tried the coconut ube cheesecake. Not even remotely close to the taste of ube nor coconut. However, still had a nice taste. Very disappointed the ube profile was not adequately represented which would leave first time tasters of ube not impressed. Overall the bakery had a nice ambiance. The staff was not really welcoming. The lattes we ordered were lukewarm. I would give this place another try for the pastries.
