I was looking for a new restaurant to try for lunch and came across ZZ Market & Grill. They have a ton of selections that are fresh and made to order. I decided to try the corned beef sandwich on onion roll (no coleslaw or sauerkraut) with extra sauce. I also ordered the garlic Parmesan tater tots and they were nice and crispy as requested. Portion size was plentiful, so I had lunch for two days lol. The food was hot and delicious and I'm definitely adding this to my list lunch spots in Detroit!

Please note. This company strongly pushes the narrative for children to eat Pork. Everyone knows how disgusting and worm infested, and unclean pigs are. They do not even offer pizza slices without pork in it, they have no concern about children that don't eat pork, while they cater to Cass Tech Students, which are Muslim, and Hebrew Israelite, and Christian.

The Deluxe Pizza and sandwiches are pretty good at Zee Zee's BUT, BUT the prices have gone up a lot since last year and now it's not really affordable for me anymore. The food is still good there anyways and I would recommend

Every single time i go in here the lady that handles the food is rude. The first time i let it slide maybe a bad day. Now that i see this is every time i go making it where hate going here when she is here. One day I asked the kids that comes here standing in line from Cass do she treat them the same way they all said the same she talks down to them with a condescending tone rolling eyes and just mean. If you don't like dealing with people get out of customer service. Or is the problem deeper then this?

Being the sandwich lover that I am, I had to go to ZZ Market & Grill for a corned beef sandwich. The sandwich was very tasty. I opted for tots as a side. They were crispy and delish with just the right kiss of salt. The modern neighborhood market is the perfect addition to a refurbished area of the city. It neighbors new parking lots, Cass Tech high school, and land for further development. It's also close to Little Caesars Arena, the Fox Theatre, and other entertainment venues. It's right off of the Fisher expressway and Woodward Ave. The variety of food items is endless. There are cold salads, premade and made-to-order cold sandwiches, hot made-to-order sandwiches, pastas, and pizza. The treats looked so yummy, I wanted to purchase several, but I decided on fruity pebbles (rice) krispy treats. There are also cakes, other deli items, and grab & go foods. The market boasts gourmet popcorn, a variety of specialty drinks, and juices. I had a peach iced tea that was fantastic. There are lots of wines and other spirits, and a coffee machine. Of course, there are regular convenience store items as well. The catering menu looks fantastic. Purchase items there for a romantic picnic. It's a great market for stocking up on foods for gatherings. Even if you don't live in the area, I recommend stopping by ZZ Market & Grill when you are in the downtown area or making a special trip just for great foods to nosh.

I couldn't get a picture, due to the fact I smashed the salad. I ordered the Cobb salad with extra lime dressing. This salad was amazing and fresh. I will definitely be back
Amazing lunch spot have been here twice this week and both times phenomenal. First I had their corned beef sandwich cooked perfectly flavorful and delicious. Also ordered there parmesan herb fries ?. Then I had to see what all the hype was about with their Prime Burger. Let’s just say you’re not going to be disappointed at all cooked perfectly and flavorful. And the staff is very friendly definitely will be back!

I’ve noticed the older bald gentleman behind the food counter with the glasses and mustache acts as if it’s a bother for him to take an order. His rude and snarky comments over the phonewhile trying to place an order is very unnecessary and offputting.

Stopped by for a slice of pizza after work when I went in I stopped at the counter to order my pizza no one ever acknowledged me so I asked for a slice of pizza the said its in the oven it will be out soon no smile just so dry the pizza was very good but no greeting or smile or thank you I work in customer service and I would never treat people that way
