Absolutely love the experience each and every time. Insomnia is my cheap spot for me and my husband to sneak away from the kids. The manager greets us like we are family each time and the cookies leave me satisfied.

I’ve never had an issue with this insomnia before. I ordered a “cookie wich” delivered to my house, and in which I had to make it myself. The cookies were hard as a rock which doesn’t make a good impression on their slogan of always being warm. Icecream was fine. I was severely unimpressed especially after spending $30.

On Sunday 1/14, my family and I visited Insomnia Cookies on Grand River Ave in East Lansing. If you have ever been to this location, you will know that parking is incredibly scarce and difficult, especially if you don't drive a compact car. With that being said & driving a full size lifted truck, we had to park nearly two blocks away. We ordered a deluxe 6 pack of their premium cookies ( 2 salted caramel, 1 confetti & 3 triple chocolate) and 6 of their non premium cookies (3 chocolate chip & 3 snickerdoodle) totaling $38.43. The cookies were placed in two boxes, the larger for the premium cookies and a second smaller for the remaining 6. We left the store, walked two blocks in 8 degree weather with 20 mph winds, got in the truck and drove away. I opened the larger box, broke a piece of the confetti and the caramel and started to give a whole 1 to my partner when I made a comment that $23 for 4 cookies was expensive, my partner said there should have been 6 in that box. I looked again and sure enough there had only 4 in the large box ( 1 caramel, 1 confetti, 2 triple chocolate) I checked the smaller box just incase the last two were in there and nope, just the 6 non premium. My partner drove me back to the store, I took the larger box and receipt into the store. I was not waited on my same worker as I had been only 10 minutes prior. I told her I thought maybe I had been shorted two cookies, she said that was something her manager needed to handle. She called up the manager, Tessa (whom was the worker to sell me the cookies an box them up.) I explained to her how I had went to divvy up the cookies and discovered there only being 4. She began to question me with things like why did I eat 1/2 the cookies before coming in (the only full cookies missing was the one I gave to my partner, remaining in the box was nearly a full confetti & caramel and an entire triple chocolate), I tried explaining where we had to park and how it took a little time to get back off the side streets and onto the one way to get back to them (again the parking for this location is in a collage town, right off campus.) Both Tessa and the other employee remarked on how come I waited so long to come back (10 min doesn't seem that long to me considering the obstacles to get back to vehicle and then back to them.) Tessa did give me the two missing cookies but not before asking again why I took so long and ate 1/2 the cookies (mind you only ONE full cookies had been eaten) and I replied that I didn't appreciate being made to feel like I was scamming them out of two cookies, cookies that aren't even that good anyway. I asked Tessa for the name of her GM but, she went to the back and refused to come back out. I will never spend my money on cookies from this location again.

We have gotten cookies from Insomnia several times. The cookies are tasty and arrive somewhat warm. Most recently,however, the cookies that were delivered looked like they should have been rejects-- the cookies were of various sizes (some just half as big as others) and a number were badly shaped (ie nowhere near round). Quality control was lacking which doesn't seem acceptable for the price of the cookies. Still, the white chocolate macadamia were yummy.

My orders have been wrong a few times. They offer little to know help after. Not sure what the issue is. Either the cookie flavors are wrong. Today I paid for 6 and got 4. It's always something. Smh ??♀️

I normally love this place, but my past two experiences with them will be my last. Twice in a row, I ordered delivery of cookies and ice cream and both times the pint of ice cream (which costs $12.50 mind you) had three little scoops that took up such little space in the tub that it actually rattled if you shook it. I bet there was less ice cream in them than if I had ordered two ice cream sandwiches, which would have been less expensive. The place has always been expensive, but worth the cost. No longer.

Can't believe it. I made an order on GrubHub and multiple drivers went to the store and messaged me to say it would be an hour for the order. It's been 90 mins since I ordered and still no order is ready for pickup. I definitely would not try to order delivery with them again.
