The food was good but they were very busy and forgot to seat us. They quoted a 50 min wait and we actually had to wait a hour and 40 minutes. They give you an app to track your position in line. We saw where we were next in line after a hour and twenty minutes. Twenty minutes later we saw people who were the same number of people sat who came in after us. I went up to the hostess stand and they said I wasn't in line anymore. Eventually the girl who put us on the list came up and said she told them to seat me a while ago.

Great atmosphere: craft drinks. Extensive taps and excellent cuisine. Ordered Fried Chicken Sandwich - Spinach Sweet Potato Bowl : excellent.

The food was ok, but overpriced for what you got. They also like to surprise you with a 3% surcharge for even eating there. It's not gratuity or sales tax. Just an extra fee they add because "of higher costs". They have a teenie sign on the front door, but super easy to miss. Not worth the money I spent there.

Lamb burger was great but not the truffle fries. Would not order those again. Looking forward to trying out other items.

I’m an event planner and I’ve had two wildly successful catered events in the mezzanine of Jolly Pumpkin! I rented the space for a group of 25-30 coworkers and chose the customizable buffet, which included your choice of salad, as well as multiple starters, entrees, and sides. I let the coordinator know we’d be expecting kids at the event, and she set out coloring pages at a special table for them! The attention to detail and kindness from the coordinator really made the experience for me and my team. Thank you, Savanah! We’ll be back :)

Jolly pumpkin was okay? It's a very popular chain in Michigan. However, I've never been that impressed in the 2 times I've been. I would say it's definitely a nice ambiance with the bar scene, drinks and bar food. I didn't enjoy the pizza at all. Some of the other food though and the appetizers were much better. Service was fast though and accommodated for my big party really really attentively!

Slow service, nobody seems to be in charge to push the kitchen and keep the ball rolling. Manager on his phone and leaning at the counter for 30 mins. This isn't French cooking, it's burgers and fries.

Food was good. Nice size portions. Little expensive. But nice experience. The server was great ?

I have not been to a bad Jolly Pumpkin but I did just come back from the one in East Lansing Michigan. Nothing bad to say it was all great . Everything, every moment.

Jolly Pumpkin in East Lansing is the grooviest spot for beer vibes! ?? Their artisanal brews and oak-aged ales are cosmic wonders. The laid-back ambiance, like a far-out chill zone, makes it primo for a mellow hang. Whether you're into sours or classic brews, this place brings the good vibes. #BreweryBliss #ChillOutZone #FarOutFlavors ???✌️

I've wanted to try this place for a long time but maybe my expectations were too high. Let's start with the positive notes: very nice place, very kind waiter. We had two sandwiches accompanied by fries. Both sandwiches very good. The fries on the other hand were extremely salty, especially the truffle ones, paid extra. Let's get to the beers. For our tastes, perhaps different from the local ones as we are European, beers are not appreciated. Maybe they were meant to be sour beers but it wasn't clearly specified on the menu. Last negative note, very high prices considering the experience. Despite this, the dessert was good. However, I wouldn't recommend it.
