I have given this place a couple of chances, which made me disappointed that I didn't cut my losses after the first time I ordered.The latest time I walked in, restaurant smelled like sewage. I could see into kitchen and witnessed staff not following Michigan food safety laws.Pizza dough is horrible -- tastes like premade dough that they're simply warning up. Toppings are ok, but not particularly good quality or particularly fresh. Pizza is overpriced for what it is -- Dominos is as good.Pizza is edible, but certainly nothing to look forward to. Anyone who likes the pizza here doesn't know/understand good pizza.

While food is great. The door dash clowns are not. They dont deserve tips. They are clowns. When one makes an excuse about slow service itbecause they dont know what real service is.Imagine if you had this sort of clown in the Military. I ordered a delivery yesterday for lunch. I got the Tuesday special and bread sticks. I cannot say enough good things about this place. The delivery was the quickest I have ever experienced. It was like 10 minutes after I ordered the driver was walking at my front door. The pizza and stick are the most delicious I have had in a very long time. This will be my go to for pizza going forward. GREAT JOB! I don't think it van get any better than this. Thank you! I highly recommend this place. They get 50 out of 10 stars.

What is it about the Lansing area? This seems to be where good pizza comes to die, and Peppinos is no exception. When I first found them I was thrilled! But now every order is overcooked with way too little cheese.

Driving into town we decided to grab a pizza before checking into our airbnb on a Friday night. Found Peppino's online and were excited to try a local favorite.Easy to order online! I was able to order ahead and pay at the counter. Cute space to eat although small. Customer service was great! Gal working counter was sweet. We carried out.We ordered vegetarian pizza and breadsticks, both with no cheese. Dipping sauce for breadsticks had some cheese in it but next time I would ask if that can be removed or just get more ranch. Pizza and breadsticks were good! We liked we could get garlic, banana peppers, jalapenos and green olives as toppings. Nice to change it up!We'd come back next time if we're in the area.
Best pizza in EL hands down! The Detroit style is sooo good but you can’t go wrong with any of them honestly. Ingredients are fresh and place is super clean. I love Peppinos so much!

Group of 11 showed up unannounced to order and dine in. Staff was very friendly and unfazed by our difficulty agreeing what to order. We ended up ordering bread sticks, wings and 4 made-to-order pizzas. We were able to try multiple items and were not disappointed. Amazing bread sticks and pizza crust and so many topping choices. We will definitely return!!
