So as someone who is from Detroit, but never had bread basket until now, it was really yummy! Omg the amount of meat you get is insane! My husband loves this place and I finally tried it for the first time and got the rueben. Lots of meat, cheese and buttery bread, what more can you ask for! I didn't get to capture the deliciousness because we just flew in from Florida and it was the first food we ate after a full day of travel!

Worst. Service. Ever.I placed my order online. One benefit of online ordering is generally that the order is printed just how you place it. Not interacting with anyone during the order process removes the chance of human error. But, they still manage to screw up the order. Every time I order here, they mess up the order. I'll place an order, get disappointed in the service, won't go back for a year or so and forget about the bad service till the next disappointing experience.The first issue - Not all items listed on the website are available. For instance, there are 9 desert options listed, but only 4 of them were available.Second, they don't seem to understand basic English. Instead of fried mushrooms, they give French fries. Bread is untoasted. And they don't put all the ingredients on the sandwiches.Third, the staff act as if they don't want to be there, like they are doing everyone a favor by showing up and doing their job. Completely unprofessional and rude.The list goes on and on. If you are looking for a decent meal at a restaurant with friendly staff, a good ambiance and fair prices, avoid this place at all costs.

It’s always something with this location… One time they gave me an old sandwich… now tonight it’s 7:24 and I walk in, just to be told “Oh we closed” um I thought closing time was 8pm? Good luck with this place!

I ordered two sandwiches, Corned beef and Turkey club, they were fresh and delicious, not salty or fat in the meat. Price was a bit much, but it was worth it!

Thought i was treating my honey and i to a treat! I WAS WRONG ! THIS WAS THE WORST SANDWICH I EVER HAD!! THE CORNED BEEF WAS DRY AND MY ONION ROLL TASTE FUNNY! MY HONEY SAID HIS WAS GROSS AND THEY AUGHT TO BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES! WHERE'S MY MONEY BACK. TOO TIRED TO GO BACK UP THERE

My husband and I tried the one in Eastpointe it was awful. We both ordered Ruben original toasted. It was supposed to have Swiss cheese but didn't. The sauerkraut was a little burnt. The worst part of the sandwich was the corn beef. It was crumbled. Corn beef should not be crumbled like ground beef. We also ordered sweet potato fries. The fries were burnt not just a little they were black. Our total order was $40.00 and we will not be going back. I recommend not eating here.
Service was awful! The phone line was busy but no one was taking phone orders. I asked if there was something wrong with the phone she said no yet the line is busy. I ordered corned beef on onion roll they gave me rye bread. I ordered corned beef egg rolls she tried to give me DUCK SAUCE! I asked for Russian dressing. Strange she willing gave every one else Russian dressing they didn't have to ask. I guess she didn't like me questioning about the busy phone line but she had her personal cell phone in hand.

I'm not sure if it was because I haven't had a corned beef sandwich since I moved away from home (Cleveland) But the Ruben I got from here was delicious it just needed a little more on thousand island dressing on it and next time I'll ask for extra cheese.Whenever I go back to the D I'm definitely visiting the bread basket ?
