Wow this place is gorgeous! I just stopped for coffee on a road trip and did not know I’d be walking into an art gallery antique store museum ! That driftwood horse head is stunning!The barista was so nice. Since I was already all tanked on caffeine I got a decaf americano and it was really good. Decaf often isn’t, so that was a nice surprise too.Every time I head south I’ll be stopping from now on for sure.

I love this hometown coffee shop. The atmosphere and view from their shop is incredible. The windows are huge and it’s lovely to enjoy such a vast view of the river flowing. I love that i can order myself a decaf and dairy free latte, although I do wish they offered coconut milk as a DF option. This is a precious place to grab a yummy coffee/tea and enjoy Elk Rapids at the same time.

This little coffee shop is perfect for Elk Rapids. It has good coffee, breakfast, lunch, reliable internet, and a great view of the river. It’s also walking distance to the beach. If you’re visiting from out of town, this is the perfect morning stop.
Get a changing table, please. $4 for an 8 oz kids milk is also ridiculous. You can buy a gallon for less.

Don't get me wrong, this place is cute. It would be a great spot to sit and chat with friends and the view out the windows of the river is beautiful.However, given the reviews in was expecting a really high quality coffee. I'm not sure where they source their coffee, but it seems all to be Latin American beans with very light and fruity notes. Additionally, I ordered a mocha and there was hardly any mocha flavor (I think they're using generic grocery store chocolate syrup in small quantities) and the amount of espresso in the drink was little enough that it mainly tasted of a weak chocolate milk.If you're a serious coffee connoisseur I would skip this place.
