The resturant was beautiful.We were greeted by a very friendly gentleman and seated quickly. Our waitress took a bit to get to us (no biggie we are patient)The cottage fries only had cheese on half of the plate but the half it was one was delicious... Side salads were good, ranch was delicious...But the ribs... :( the main reason we went there... had so much fat on them and were really dry. Disappointing...The BBQ cause they use is fantastic!!!

I could eat here every day. Chicken and shrimp combo is what I always get. I've tasted the ribs also. Not fall of the bone but have a good taste. Staff is always extremely friendly. This place is a shell of its former self. The service was terrible. We tried to consider that they were short staffed but i noticed our waitress talking to friends and passed our table several times. The ribs we ordered were too tough to the point we couldn't finish it. The fries were potato chips when in the past they'd had a nice fluff to them where they didn't taste stale and left out. Only thing good about this place is they sell their bbq sauce so you can go home and make your own ribs on the grill the way you want it. Not going back unless I buy some sauce personally. Try at your own risk.
This food was so good! We ate so fast didnt even think to take pics! But even more the staff was amazing! From the time we landed in Detroit due to a close death in the family, we had bad experience after bad experience all within a 6 hr time frame. By the time we got here we were exhausted and annoyed and immediately the staff was accommodating, nice and compassionate. I can't recall when we had an experience like this. We thank yall so much and will definitely return when we come back to Detroit. Peace and blessings

Frequented Bone Yard thirty years ago and food was absolutely delicious and amazing. My friend had a craving recently so we both ordered rib dinner, take out. Heidi enjoyed her food. I was extremely disappointed and quite frankly, nauseated. Ribs were 95% bones almost meatless, flavorless and tough. Cole slaw tasteless and half of cottage fries were soggy as ribs were placed on top of them. So called garlic bread low quality and tasteless. At this very moment, thinking about it makes me frown and cringe. What happened? So sad…
Was missing my salad dressing for the salad.
