“Best udon hands down. I've been coming here for a decade and the food is still delicious and cheap. Since COVID, the restaurant has remained take-out only. The soup is so flavorful, salty, and umami. They serve other dishes like soba noodles, grilled fish, curry, and sushi which are also fantastic! Great portion sizes too. My top recommendations: - Kiyomizu: super simple udon with minimal toppings. Sooo good and perfect portion -- toppings really fill me up. - Kamogawa: duck udon with mountain vegetables. The duck makes the broth more fatty/rich in flavor and the duck pieces are delicious! - Ajishin: the classic. Contains a bit of everything, extremely filling and delicious. - Curry Rice: a must have! Such a thick and flavorful curry with a little bit of meat. They serve it with shrimp tempura which is so good. You can order a half order to go along with the udon! - Tamago nigiri: all the sushi is fantastic and cheap but the tamago nigiri at Ajishin is delicious and huge! This is a must try if you are ever in the area!“

“First time trying Ah-Ha and was very pleasantly surprised. The crab & shrimp boil was delicious but the cajun seasoning could have been spicier. I was thrilled to find marinated pork belly as the pork in my noodles (pork and vegetable option). This was a "need a towel, not a napkin" kind of meal - messy and great! We will definitely be back.“

“Boon Kai had always been one of my favorite restaurants!! I still enjoy the food, but it depends on what I am getting. The chicken fried rice was fantastic! But it seems like the dinner rolls have changed in taste and I’m just not keen on them. I’m also not a fan of the sweet and sour sauce anymore. Very friendly and fast service though!“

“I enjoyed the food. What's even best is the place is a short stone throw from my home. I chose the almond boneless chicken and the sesame chicken. Portions were nice size and the food was fresh. I've driven by this place dozens of times and had no clue. I will definitely be going back.“

“Been coming to this place since dad took us every Sunday while still alive 70•s, 80’s. Then, most recently since it has been remodeled. We always get the same delicious food that tastes the same awesome happiness memories~ Dom dom mein soup (tiny thin pork, shrimp, fresh veg, noodles), Hong Kong Sizzling Steak w fresh sizzling veg, fried rice. Try it b/c nobody else has this- thank you, chef Bin Chen and daughter Chao, and her brother. Please don’t change the recipe -delicious! The place is super clean and brand new seating! Thank you for cooking delicious meals for us!~ Gwendolyn and Paul (driving from Shelby Twp just to eat your yummy food)“

“Great service - staff was friendly and service was quick. The restaurant looked very clean and organized on the inside. Food was generally delicious. We liked what we ordered but I would probably try their other offerings next time. C12. Szechuan La-Mian: this vegetarian dish came with loads of different veggies and half an egg in a savory and tangy broth. The Szechuan peppercorn came through but it wasn't too spicy for me. The noodles were chewy and really good. C8. Braised Beef Soup: this noodle soup was savory but I was expecting a bit deeper beef flavor and more spice. But it was comforting. What really stole the show with both dishes was the hand pulled noodles. They were chewy and bouncy.“
