“Tucked into a little strip just off Woodward with office buildings all around, this suburban deli is probably the antithesis of a NYC deli: quiet, relaxing, more like a coffee house with food instead. They do a heck of a takeaway business as I found out while I ate in.An avuncular gentleman greeted me well before I made it to the counter. Great sense of humor, too. He joked with the other staff when not waiting on customers.I ordered a full Chicken Greek grilled wrap. Everything is available as full or half. Full wraps are $13, halves are $10. The other sandwiches are similarly priced.Only had to wait a couple minutes for my sandwich to be made.It was mildly flavored, the Greek/Italian dressing & feta really the only flavor involved. No olives, lots of iceberg and some tomato accompanied the chicken, as well. A touch dry, too.Plenty of seating if you want to stay. They even have electrical outlets under benches so you can recharge your electronic leash, I mean, cell phone.There is a restroom but you have to go into the kitchen to get there.Vegetarian options: Salads, soups, quesadillas and sandwiches can all be had without meat.Parking: 22 spaces in front.Kid-friendliness: Unless your kids are feral beasts, they'll be fine here.Wheelchair accessibility: Easily accessed, no curb, double doors and an abundance of room to navigate. “Shout out to the Bloomfield, MI location on Telegraph. I went in just before 7pm last night, not realizing they were about to close. The young woman who came up to greet me insisted that I proceed to order (I used to work in a restaurant so I know it can sometimes be a PITA to make food last minute after most everything is cleaned up and put away). The young woman who made my hummus and beet salad made the most delicious salad. I very much appreciated this quality service and food as I was super stressed about my kitty getting an emergency procedure at the ER vet up the road. If I'm ever out that way again, I will definitely stop at this location!“
