Food was good. Service was nice. The atmosphere was a bit smaller and finding parking was a bit annoying, however I love this place because it's where I met and had my first date with my boyfriend. We've been together ever since.

The next time you're in Detroit, try Bobcat Bonnie's. This restaurant is family owned. They have about 6 locations. The food was delish! They are always adding new creative items to the menu. The 24ct gold wings had an unusual delish taste, and they sprinkled tiny gold glitter flakes on them. I just loved that! The fried cauliflower was yummy, and the chicken strips are not your average chicken fingers. They are crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The vibe is coo and laid back. It's a come as you are place to visit. Everyone will feel comfortable here. The employees are very attentive, and the location is surrounded by other small businesses, so you can take a stoll and check out the other shops before or after you eat. Things to know are that there is a 20% gratuity added to a party of 6 or more. They sell the art you see on the walls. You can follow them on Instagram to see more art. You can go online and book a reservation. They have weekly specials, so you won't break the bank, and they have happy hour where the appetizers are on special and some of the drinks are $4 off. Everyone enjoyed their food and beverages, and we were all especially stoked for the tots! I appreciated the lunch combo option, as well, since I wasn't super hungry and wanted to try a couple items.

I came in with my 3 year old and we were starving. I asked to be seated in a bigger table space. They accommodated me. I ordered the vegan chili tots, vegan fish tacos and a kids vegan burger. Everything was very tasty. The bun on the kids burger was a little much for my guy. We also had the lemon poppyseed donut dessert with vegan vanilla ice cream. The lemon zest stole the show.

Very relaxed vibe here. The noise level was perfect for being able to have a conversation. Love the ambiance! I really wish I had tried one of their draft beers. The one with Raspberry that was featured sounded delish! The waiter was attentive and made sure we had water refills. I had the Spicy Chicken Bowl. It had a nice blend of flavor and texture with the variety of ingredients. Just wish they could've put less of the Jalapeño Ranch in it. There seems to be a lot in this dish.
Bobcat Bonnie's is the og ferndale brunch spot for me when i first moved here. The breakfast is always good, the drinks are always flowing. The bartenders are great. They make a decent espresso martini! Probably better priced drinks here more than the surrounding areas and the food is above average at best but are more creative than other menus. It's always busy here so get there early for brunch to snag a table!

I ordered a Vegan Big Burrito & was given a regular burrito with pork on it. The guy told me the manufacturer changed. I trusted him and now I feel sick. All I got was a sorry. That’s not okay. They need to know more about the food.

What a delightful brunch experience! Our server, Lev ( I believe that was their name), truly elevated our dining experience with exceptional service. Their recommendation of the smothered potatoes with chicken & I added a side of vegan chipotle aioli was absolutely spot-on and left my friend and I amazed. While the mocktail, the blue lagoon, was decent, it didn't quite match the excellence of the food. My boyfriend enjoyed the breakfast tacos, though he mentioned he might explore other options next time. As for the espresso martinis, they were simply superb. Although my friend found the biscuits and gravy a tad dry, a request for extra gravy easily rectified that minor issue. Overall, a solid 10/10 for outstanding service, delicious food, and a welcoming atmosphere.
