Came in with a group of co workers. Asked server if I could get my order to go since I was going to leave early. He said no problem. Everyone at the table got their food but me. I had to find server and ask and he kind of shrugged it off and said he told the kitchen to make my order to go. Asked the manager and she didn't know what the issue was. I had to leave. I know they were busy but please just see if my order got stuck in the order pick up area or if it was created or not. SO cant tell you how the food is but after the hassle with parking and getting seated I cant imagine that the food is worth it. But you give it a try and see how u like it.

The atmosphere was very nice! Loved the music that was playing. Our waitress was nice and very patient with our large party. My fish was fried to perfection but didn't taste like farm raised catfish. My French toast tasted burnt at the edges. My smothered potatoes were potatoe chunks with cut up peppers. Not what I expected! The appetizers were good. Fried green tomatoes.. They ran out of grits

The food was excellent. The wait was a little long but worth it. I had the Slimgoody omelet. They give you ample enough in the omelet. Friendly waitstaff. Reasonable priced which I was happy to see. Check it out you will not be disappointed

Best brunch in the metro Detroit area hands down! I’ve been several times and every dish I’ve experienced has been delicious. From the skillets to the omelettes even the chicken & waffles. Black owned service is excellent. Atmosphere is good. Treat yourself to this establishment

The food was flavorful with great portion sizes. We didn't have a long wait, and the waiters were attentive and provided great service. The atmosphere has good vibes, they played r and b hits, I would say the music could be loud for some but I enjoyed it. Overall I definitely plan to come back and try some other things on the menu

We went there for my mom's birthday. The food was phenomenal. Our waitress was phenomenal but my son's and daughters table their waiter was not. He was very rude. My son ordered some grits and there was a fingernail in his food, not a clipping, a whole faith female with a design on it which was a ball. The waiter was very disrespectful with my son talk to him about this. The waiter then took the plate back into the kitchen. Showed the cooking stuff and begin to laugh about it and then toss it in the garbage. The owner then proceeded to be rude as well with my son as he walked over to our table. She came over to ask him, What's the problem? As he was informing her about what was wrong, she then said to my son oh I thought you were telling people about what happened and then said we don't take kindly to that . Not knowing that he was coming over to talk to his mother to let her know to check her food. As she was carrying food out to different tables, the food was rubbing up against her shirt. Very unsanitary. Again, the food was very good. The service throughout was just very bad. And for my suggestion, if you're not going to have everything on your menu, you should have two one for the weekends and one for the week. I was referred to this restaurant by my sister telling me the things that she ordered and how good the food was. But when I tried to order these things I was told oh we don't serve that on the weekend. And I also recommend that when you're serving food to a party or to a group of people that you try to bring it all out somewhat close together. Because my food was brought out 6 minutes apart from each dish, some people might receive their food and others had to wait 10 minutes for the rest.
