Expensive for the experience. The pasta was o.k, restaurant was understaffed, drinks were expensive, and the order was taken wrong. There's other Italian restaurants that offer more for the money!

Good food, service great, ambiance is modern and sociable. It can be a dinner or brunch you will have fun. But don't expect a traditional Italian food. This is an America Italian.

First time visit to Pop's and it was a very casual, open space. There were several large parties so it would be a great spot for a family/friends celebration. I ordered the breakfast flatbread and it was good; the flavors were a nice balance between being too bland or over seasoned. Our server was also pleasant and she provided good service. Would recommend!

There's street side parking (free on Sunday's) and asince the weather was nice, it was an easy stroll to the restaurant. I ordered the. Caprese breakfast it was really good. The service was attentive. He really wanted to do a good job. We ordered also the Mimosa fountain which was a lot. Very expensive for what you got. I was in a group of 10 people and we had a great time. The food was not an expensive for the portions that you got. Definitely a place more for the company you're with than the quality and price that you're paying.

They had the best garlic bread and pesto spread I’ve ever had at a restaurant. The fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp was phenomenal. The chicken Parmesan was not my favorite, but that’s because the sauce was a little on the sour side (I prefer sweet sauce). I ordered a hot mocha latte for dessert and it’s something I’ll crave for a long time!! The tiramisu was very good - not too sweet and just right. Loved the service and the atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back!!Parking: There are paid parking lots and garages around Ferndale. You can also download the Park Ferndale app and you’ll be able to park on the street.

Had the eggplant Parm, garlic loafs and mushroom fettuccine. Eggplant felt undercooked/crunchy but the fettuccine was good. We thought the garlic loavess would be sharable but they were unimpressive.

My wife and I have been going to Pops for Italian for years now. It was one of our first dates when we moved back to Michigan. Once we officially moved to Ferndale we started visiting more often and have simply fallen in love with the place. We always sit at the bar because the service is top notch. Bryan has been taking amazing care of us for what seems like forever. He's the best! But the bar staff, in general, is amazing. :) The food is delicious. The wine selection is amazing. Plus you can earn points! Points = $$$ They even have a nice Happy Hour now! Their brunch is really what hooked us. And the menu their "new" chef has come up with is fantastic. It changes quite a bit. Which is good and bad, because you get some delicious new stuff but sometimes your favorites go away. #italianpotatoes #smokedsalmonflatbread #bltfritata *See pictures for a couple of newer brunch items. But regardless, the menu is solid and the service is wonderful. Which is somewhat hard to come by these days. Highly recommended. If you can, sit at the bar. ;)

Long time visitor of Pops and figured it was time to leave a review. Surprised their score isn't even higher as I've never heard anything but the best things! If you suggest to someone going to Pops for brunch, lunch, dinner, you're almost always going to get a "YES!" they specialize in pizza/pasta and easy-going Italian. It's appropriately priced compared to similar restaurants. The service is always solid. The space is big, so usually the wait isn't too bad even if it's busy. I have had some lag time during service, but not recently, so I think their staffing has likely improved. They're also great for groups and private events!Dietary restrictions: Lots of gluten-free choices/accommodations noted on the menu!

Highly dissatisfied I wanted to like this place. First red flag is we weren’t even sat we had to actually ask if we can sit down for our table lol second red flag is the extreme horrible service it just doesn’t sit right with me when you gotta go up to 5 tables before you get to ours to ask who ordered the drinks. The Easter bunny kept pacing around in the way and the place is already jam packed. Plates were dirty and food is mediocre. Service and food is just not what I expected and I genuinely don’t know how they get so busy specially for a buffet that is not that good. Will not be returning.
