Good drinks but the star of the show for me is the chicken pot pie. I’m not sure when they hired my nana to slang some chicken back there but the pot pie slaps. Highly recommend.Great DJ set as well (dune.zii)

Great neighborhood hang. Best beer in the area.

Had the watermelon and rosé ice cream and mango ice cream. More like sorbet. Not bad. Not great. Tastes okay.

This place has a very cool vibe. The name is Urbanrest Brewing Co. Other than soft serve ice cream, they do not serve food, which is too bad to not serve at least appetizers, but they have some great food trucks, so check out what truck is going to be there if you are hungry. But beers are where they shine. Great variety, knowledgeable staff.

Stopped in for beer and ice cream and was not disappointed. The peach strata ice cream has a nice hops note to it. The mango ice cream was delicious. It’s all soft-serve, by the way.Beers are always solid here. Service was top-notch as always. I am really glad for the downtown location. It’s a great stop after a meal. Plenty of parking in the city lot in back as well as a rear entrance. There I’d dog-friendly seating outside in the back too.

Cool and cozy spot for delicious beer, the kiddo got an ice cream and even that was damn good! Some breweries have lots of flair and decor, I enjoy the simplicity of the decor and appreciate the main focal point being the quality of their beer.

Not a bad place to grab a beer or two in downtown Ferndale. Came here after dinner for drinks while family was in town visiting. It was late and near closing time and it was pretty empty, but it was a great way to finish off the evening. It definitely doesn't have the same vibe as the main location a mile or two away, but it gets the job done! If you're going downtown just for Urbanrest, I would suggest going to their main location instead. If you want to be able to hop around downtown Ferndale, this is a good stop to make.

I loved it, when it was open. Sadly, it's been closed for weeks. Great beers on tap. No food here which is a drawback. The beers are on the high abv side so some good would be nice.

Liked the smoked bier, the prices were good. It's great that they have local musicians for entertainment.

All star ratings are for the bathroom, not the establishment.I feel bad for the three, but the bathrooms at Urbanrest downtown are single person. They're clean, big, and we're stocked well... but they're also right by the backdoor (where the picnic tables are), and it'll be less then private when you walk out of the bathroom with a cloud of funk following you.If you really gotta go, stop in, but a Big Bobby Burns, and then try to be quick.

Decent beer, same as the rest of the Five Mile brew(ery) has. Only real problem is an obvious pressure issue, and too much head; or an inability to pour fast enough. These “beertenders” are pretty sweet, but come one with the foam already! Real beer drinkers don’t care, but they’ll catch on. Fix your stuff*

Great service, knowledgeable bar tenders highly recommend checking it out for some good beer

Starkly different decor at this location on Nine Mile than their original location on Wolcott which has a fun, funky and cozy real industrial feel with big windows and couches and a restful feeling making you want to sit around and stay a bit. This location is all about the ubiquitous grey on grey on grey tones with touches of brown and has gone for the less is more cold hard look. Beer is fine but it didn't make me want to stay and have a second one. No warm cozy restful feeling here...even from the bar server. Expensively priced red wine was served chilled.

Great way to end an evening. Boozy tart soft serve complimented with an English Dark Mild which has the perfect amount of chocolate & cherry in its own right. Note: only at the location on 9 Mile in downtown Ferndale.
