Food was good, but it was overpriced. I did not have a beer. You're and split a meal with one of my kids. The other kids ate off the child's menu. And it was still over $60. A drink water a little bit high on price.

Wonderful restaurant. Great service and food. We enjoyed it very much and look forward to it becoming one of our go-to eating places. Prices were fair. The food portion was good. Food seasoning and presentation were good. Menu is easy to navigate, and the drink menu allows for a variety of different options.

I went for lunch after some months and the food is as good as always. Normally chips and salsa are complimentary and show up after you're seated as is the case in most Mexican restaurants. However I found it strange that I was asked if I wanted chips and salsa, which I said yes. When the bill came I saw that I was charged $4.99 for it. So be advised that it's no longer complimentary here. A bit of a disappointment, but I'll know next time.

The server was the perfect combination... Not in our face but made sure we had what we needed when we needed it. She knew the information about the menu and also was knowledgeable about the items on the menu! The food was delicious. I ordered the dos amigos salad... It is a taco salad that has either steak and shrimp or chicken and shrimp. I ordered the one with steak and shrimp and it was amazing! If you are expecting the normal taco salad with too much lettuce and not enough meat? You will be disappointed. If anything, this salad could use more lettuce! But the salad bowl was cooked perfectly. The steak and shrimp were amazing and the combined ingredients like beans, tomatoes, onions, peppers and everything else? The results were amazing! And the decor? Not the same as every other Mexican restaurant.... It was comfortable and unique.I only wish they had a Mexican guacamole... Not just a guacamole dip...This was my first visit, but I will definitely be back!

It's always nice to have YELP suggest a new place when visiting a new town. In this case we were looking for a nice spot for lunch and YELP suggested Soriano's since we love Mexican food. We were extremely pleased when our food arrived. This isn't your typical "corporate American" Mexican food. Even many small locally-owned Mexican restaurants seem to have adopted the "Chi Chi's style" of bland and undistinguished Mexican food. Not Soriano's I'm pleased to report. My Chili Rellenos with chicken were outstanding and my partner's simple chicken Burrito was equally excellent. The sauces were refreshingly authentic (we do travel in the Southwest US quite a bit so this is based on actual experience.) A few people commented on the charge for chips and salsa which is somewhat unusual. However, the menu prices are so reasonable that to "ding" a review due to the charge for chips seems misplaced in my opinion. The service was very friendly and the food arrived quickly (this was a lunch service.) When I complimented the manger (perhaps the owner) she comp'ed us an order of delightful flour tortillas which made my Rellenos even better. This is a "hole in the wall" kind of place with some quaint touches to emphasize its Mexican heritage. The place was very clean and I had zero concerns about food sanitation. There is ample parking in adjacent lots so access even in this downtown location isn't an issue. My only regret is that we don't have a Soriano's in our home town of Ann Arbor.

I use to really love this place. Been coming for years even before I moved away. I went there tonight and I was severely disappointed. Apparently, now they charge you $5 for chips and salsa, which always use to be free. Also, I had to ask for water multiple times. My food came out before I got water. I also had to wait for the silverware when my food came out. Service use to be exceptional, I don't know what happened. Also, they now charge you a fee if you use a card instead of cash. Also, they didn't put the guacamole I ordered in my to go order. I will just go to other Mexican restaurants. I'm disappointed. This use to be a favorite place of mine.
