“My husband and I finally tried Lucky Brunch yesterday morning and I wish we have tried it sooner! Our server was Vera and she was super nice and told us all about Lucky Brunch and the items on the menu. We ordered the veggie omelette and added ham, smoked salmon benedict, a side of biscuits & gravy, and the blintz crepe… a lot of food I know but we couldn’t narrow it down so we had a whole second meal with our leftovers. Everything was great and I can’t wait to go back and try more!“
“This place is amazing! True with the name. The pancakes are absolutely delicious! You don't even need serb on it. It's just so nice and sweet and fluffy! They remind me a lot of the pancakes at Denny's (but obviously better quality)! When I walked in on a Saturday, it was very busy, but I was still treated like family! The owner came by and greeted me warmly & personally and the FOOD outta Dis world! I highly the recommend the Greek oubleete as they were the best I've ever had! I don't recommend the potato pancakes period they were dry and definitely could use some help! Orange juice is delicious and“
“A nice breakfast/lunch place, 1 of 3 locations.Greeted quickly by a smiling lady when we walked in at 11 am on a Thursday. Seated in a big, wraparound booth with several tables. After being open 5 hrs already this place is really clean. Not just the tables, but the seats & chairs as well as the carpet. The menu is huge so I had ask for more time twice from the server. They are really efficient folks. My inability to decide took me, eventually, to the daily special (only $6.25 before 11, $7.25 after) while my son got the Horn of Plenty, a Dutch Baby filled with fresh fruit & whipped cream. The Garden Surprise is a veggie & cheese filled version. There are several other Dutch Baby options as well as the larger German pancakes, crepes, waffles, Belgian waffles, omelets, salads, soups and sandwiches. My son nearly inhaled his fruit-filled breakfast while I enjoyed all my eggs, bacon, fried potatoes & biscuits (with honey, of course) at a slightly more leisurely pace. We'd definitely come back.Vegetarian options: Vegans might have some issues due to their more restricted dietary choices.Kid-friendliness: It's a diner, off course it's kid friendly.Wheelchair accessibility: Could be a bit tight in a few spots but otherwise good.“
“Wow haven't been here in a long time ! Very busy on early Sunday afternoon. Didn't wait long. Shared a Mexican and Greek omelette. Both were quite good. Loaded with all the ingredients. Hub of activity, with waitresses, bus people, etc flying by. Per getting more normal, when you go to pay bill - the smallest sign tells you 4 percent extra for a credit card payment.“
“Really cute inside. Almost a Magnolia type of farm decor. They had an outdoor patio option to sit at as well. Good service. The food was alright, with wonderful presentation.I ordered the lemon blackberry french toast and didn't care for it. Too sweet. My husband's meal however was very good. He ordered the turkey sausage biscuits & gravy with the breakfast potatoes. The breakfast potatoes were phenomenal. They had some spice to them. We tried the donut holes and they were only okay. The million dollar bacon, however, is a must. Not too sweet, with a tiny kick of heat. Our coffee came in an individual carafe, which was convenient, but it tasted sour and bitter. I'm a coffee lover but couldn't stomach a cup if this brew. All in all, I would give the place another try and order a different dish. Hard pass on the coffee.“
“Excellent breakfast/brunch food. Always hot from the kitchen staff. Prices are very, very reasonable. The service is warm and inviting, efficient and professional. The wait staff of Jenny, Laurie and Heather are on top of everything, so you never have to wait on coffee refills—a pet peeve of mine. Great smiles too!“
“My absolute favorite breakfast place. Great lunch too. The family that runs this place is so kind and loving, I've been coming here with my mother for years. I always get the eggs Benedict for breakfast and my mom always sticks with a good old ham sandwich. Ham is nice and thick cut, super delicious on some thick rye bread! They have an amazing selection to choose from, for breakfast and lunch and I've never tried anything that was bad! The atmosphere is cozy and you get taken care of every time no matter who's serving you. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a new diner.“
“The waitstaff there is almost always amazing and they turn over a lot of tables. There is usually a line out if the door waiting. This location in MI always prepares the food better than any other location. My only concern is the amount of parking versus customers. I love the family friendly atmosphere and good food.“
“Enjoyed a great breakfast here today(Saturday). We were able to get a table right when we walked in, the menu is has quite a few options without it being too much. I ordered the cinnamon raisin French toast and a side of grits. Loved how eggy the French toast was, and the grits were an excellent consistency not too thick or thin. My husband ordered eggs and blueberry pancakes. He really enjoyed both, his eggs were perfectly cooked.“
“I liked the food. I got a kind of a biscuit and gravy with potatoes dish. I say kind of because the gravy was on the potatoes instead of the biscuits haha but nonetheless it was delicious. My husband got the eggs Benedict and he liked it as well. Nice breakfast/ brunch place.“
“The best place for brunch! The food and drinks are always delicious, and the staff is always friendly. Sometimes there is a long wait for a table, but you can "get in line" online now so that helps! PS... The lavender haze is quite possibly my favorite (non-alcoholic) drink ever. You have to try it.“
“I should have posted long ago, but I take long time favorite restaurants for granted too often. Our server was off the hook nice, busy, and had a knack for letting us know she was paying attention to us. They sat us in a booth next to a local rockstar, his rockstar wife and family, they were engaging. We laughed afterwards about how we almost got takeout. It was Friday after Thanksgiving food for my wife and I, and no, we couldn't finish our plates.“
“Today was a super busy day for them. We waited about 1hour for our food but it was just right on point. I Really loved the food and wanted the kool aid but that's fine I had eggs wing dings and home Fresh potatoes. If you're ever on the east side of Detroit please stop by. It's a small quant place and great food.“
“Came in this morning to try this place out with friends. So many choices and everything on the menu sounded yummy! I ordered the crepe house breakfast combo #1 and a blueberry crepe. My friends ordered crepes and breakfast combo #3. Everything was yummy!Staff were nice and always someone available to refill your coffee. The patrons who were dining in that day by my friends and I were all happy and that makes the restaurant environment enjoyable and pleasing. Will be back to try other items on the menu.“
“Been a while since I had been here. Not sure why I just started craving Ham and I always received the best ham here so off we went for a late breakfast! Our usual MEAL out is dinner/lunch with breakfast typically being at an establishment that offers Gluten Free options for toast/french toast or pancakes. No GF bread products but STILL SERVE THE BEST HAM AND COFFEE-you never have to ask! I asked and they still peal and shred their own potatoes, they do. Today though the potatoes appear possibly over par boiled so the hash browns were kind of soft. The inside has not changed much over the years and it could use an update but it is very clean! Do not let the loved appearance scare you. This is where the locals go to eat. They get a crowd after church too!! Staff is always so kind and attentive! You can get a breakfast with three eggs and a pound of Ham! So good. In this day and age of the missing mom and Pop businesses come and support your local restaurants. Prices are amazing too!“
