“Just tried out this place. We were in a large group that ordered several types of chai and different food items, and everything was wow! Hands down, best chai I've had in Michigan. I especially liked the Karak Chai and Amore Chai, but all of the different chai varieties at the table were amazing. My family is South Asian so I grew up as a bit of a chai snob, but this place thoroughly impressed me. Their homemade paratha wraps and sandwiches were super yummy. Seating was ample, both indoors and outdoors, and the whole restaurant had a vibrant and chic vibe. Place was very clean. This is a family owned restaurant and the thing I thought was especially stand-out was that several of the family-members were there even though we went really late on a Sunday. Owners stopped by several times to make sure our group was happy. If your only experience with chai is at Starbucks or Biggby, I really recommend taking in Cups N Chai's extremely welcoming environment with your family or friends while broadening your horizons with one of their wonderful pots of chai.“
“Delicious food. Great service. Price point is excellent. The appetizer with cauliflower and naan were excellent starters. Chicken dinners enough for tomorrow’s lunch. Followed covid protocols. Atmosphere was excellent. Will go again!!!“
“This place is FANTASTIC. The food is in a league of its own. The dishes were loaded with fresh herbs and the spices were very delicately balanced. The Sambar soup was on special tonight and it was the best I’ve had. The service was great and the food came out fast and hot. I recommend this place. If I would give it six stars I would.“
“Every item we ate was amazing. Especially the "Margh" and "Haleem" were authentic Hyderabadi. Friendly staff and clean environment. Very good customer service. The waiter was telling us about the buffet, so we'll try it sometime, God willing. If you want a taste of authentic Hyderabadi food, don't miss it.“
“This place is awesome. Amazing food, great service and the staff was very welcoming. Highly recommend checking this place out. I ordered Chicken tikka and lentils soup, my husband ordered chicken soup, they were absolutely delicious, I would say best Indian food taste in Michigan.“
“Omg what a hidden gem! We stopped here on a whim and I am so glad we did. The service is great but the food…holy bananas…it’s PHENOMENAL. I can’t say enough about the food. It’s delicious and the portions are huge. We will definitely be back!!“
“Overall the food is pretty darn good. The sizes are small for the price, but the taste supercedes that. I think their sizes are more of a lunch portion. The portion leaves you wanting for more if this is your dinner. When they first moved over to Laurel Park Place we kept getting told they would open by a certain date that actually was months later. We found other Indian restaurants to satisfy our palate until they finally opened. They opened with very few items on their menu, and VERY limited hours. They have added a few more items, but nothing compared to their menu when they were in the gas station off of Haggerty Road. We have missed their Malai Kofta, and Chicken Tikka, amongst a few items. A lot of their sauces taste like the same basic sauce with maybe a basic addition of a different spice or two added to the specific dish. We noticed that they stopped filling their carry-containers as full as well. If they are going to make it in this area they need to give you enough to fill your container properly, possibly offer two sizes... a lunch or dinner. I am not talking about the lunch bowls they now have, but the individual white carry out containers. Their hours are only Thurs.-Sun. which really limits when you want to fill your tummy. The owners are nice. The Mrs. Is a very warm and chatty woman, but she is never there anymore. It would help if they did an advertising blitz in Livonia, Farmington Hills, and Northville. The taste of their food is truly top tier. Probably in the top 5 Indian restaurants in the surrounding area. This is a compliment to the highest degree considering the amount of Indian cuisine in the area. There are lots. Bring back the Malai Kofta and the Chicken Tikka.“
“I was blown away by all of the 5 star reviews. I for sure thought it was a hoax so I tried it for myself and OH MY! The Butter Chicken is absolutely delicious! 10/10! The rice is decent and the Garlic Naan 8/10. Tasty but a bit soggy! I am so glad I found this jewel and will definitely be a frequent flyer!“
“It's a crime to have such a delicious place right next to the gym ?.You step out of the car, and the aromas just hit you like a truck. My go-to is always their lamb seekh kebab; unless I'm feeling something different, which also doesn't disappoint. They don't have seating, only take-out, so do beat that in mind, and don't let that discouraged you either. Absolutely worth a try“
“Literally some of the best Indian food I've had, and that includes several trips to London where I thought it would get no better outside of going to India. The Naan was perfectly thick while still feeling like Naan, and the butter chicken was to die for. The appetizer, chicken 65 something, was different and excellent.“
“Was here for breakfast buffet on SaturdayJust made my taste buds happyThe best South Indian bf around novi and farmingtonThey had idli, uttappa, mysore bonda, medhu vada, poori and pongalAll good and at a fair price.Definitely my weekend getaway now.“
“I went to Pakwaan for lunch today and was happy to see they had a lunch buffet. I love being able to graze across a range of Indian dishes, and the buffet allowed me to do just that. There was a wide assortment available with all of my favorites included (tandoori chicken, butter chicken, naan, paneer masala, and much more). The spicy noodles were amazing with just enough flavorful heat to light up your taste buds but not so much that you're in pain. There was even a delicious mango dessert. The price was what you'd pay anywhere in Plymouth for lunch, if not a little less, and the assorment was amazing. We were seated quickly, hit the buffet, and were easily back to work on time. If you enjoy the variety offered by a fresh Indian buffet, definitely check them out for lunch. If you have something particular in mind, check out their menu. Highly recommended!“
“Sharing my food experiences is part of what I do, and this was an amazing experience. Not only is the team sweet, helpful and kind, the food is delicious! I love the look of the cafe as well. I could chill here any day. The samosas are soooo tasty, tried an onion one and it blew my mind. Gift of India is true to its name and a total gift to my tastebuds!“
“This was my first time at this restaurant. Everything was absolutely exquisite! I ordered; butter chicken mild with rice, chicken 65 mild with rice, garlic and cheese naan bread, and kulfi. The customer service was exemplary! I most certainly will be a returning customer. Thank you for an amazing experience.“
“Food is so unique hear! Traditional Indian/fusion cuisine. Order the butter chicken pizza , it is a whole explosion of flavors! I was lucky enough to try quite a few of the menu items and they were all absolutely delicious. The service was great & the staff was patient. This is more of a to go style restaurant though! Butter chicken & paneer pizza was beautiful AND delicious. Veggie samosas were great & don't forget to check out the cafe side as well!“
“I had a wonderful experience at this Indian restaurant. Went in with my mother for lunch and tried the butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, garlic naan and the saag paneer. The butter chicken was very tasty and had the right amount of spice for a medium plus. The saag paneer had sooo much flavor, it was some of the best that I have had in Michigan. I didn’t really like the samosas as they seem different than what I expected and were more like eggroll wrapped triangles which threw off the texture. The service was amazing, and we even found out that it is a family business with a very kind husband and wife who made us feel very welcome. Will be back again!Dietary restrictions: Halal food!“
“The food and service is generally good. It was little too spicy for our tastebud, but we ordered hot. Not a big fan of the food and service was good. Parking was available, and a lot of space to seat and eat. Family deal was a good deal with lots of food. I loved the pompano grill the best. Everything else was ok, again food tastes different, some I love, some not so much.“
“We had such a great experience. Service was good and food was great . Only issue I have noticed which I am surprised no one has addressed this to the owner . There is no baby diaper station in the bathroom. That is essential and I did speak to the owner and he did stated he will take care of that .“
“The food here tastes amazing ?Best haleem one could get in Michigan ?Garlic naan is my favorite here ?Chicken 555 and Mirpakaya kodi in starters are a hit ? Vijaywada chicken biryani was great ? thanks to chef for yummy food ?Service was good ?“
“We were extremely happy with the quality of the food we were served at Paradise! The samosas have a light crispy shell and the tamarind chutney was possibly the best I ever had, the Gobi Manchurian was rich and spicy, and the Aloo Gobi had the perfect blend of spices. We will definitely return!“
“I have been here multiple times but my recent visit was a game changer. The food took me back home. It was authentic and the service was kind and accommodating. Best tiffins I had in Michigan. Mr. Shivvy is simply welcoming and kind. The buffet is a must try!“
“The food here is amazing and the service is great! We've only gotten carryout but everything is always right, fresh, well packaged and they are so friendly. I'm so glad we found this gem! We got butter chicken, Chana masala, samosas and naan this time. Yum!“
