“Escamilla's has great service and excellent Mexican food. My favorite is the Chile Cheese Renello. Lots of cheese in 2 Chile Peppers (so good it is my go-to dish) with awesome beans and rice. The Cheese Enchiladas are also very good.“

They have a nice selection and everything was very good.The atmosphere is very nice and it was a very peaceful lunch.Service was okay, it was really slow while we were there so I would have expected drink refills or to be checked in on more but it was also nice to just be left alone to visit while dining.“

“We have been going here for a while as sit down for sushi. Ordering the same as we have our favorites. This is the first time we ordered take out and I can say the quality was the same but the portions were not the same as dine in. A bit disappointed. Won't stop us from going back as they are great. We love this place as well as seganos. Just was surprised at the difference.“

“This Grand Blanc gem is family owned 3 generations. Sophia’s Kitchen has been a staple in this location since 2000 which is when I was there last. It looks like it hasn’t been updated since then either. That’s fine because the decor has stood the test of time and overall it’s clean and service is great. I visited solo on a lonely, dreary Saturday morning but was greeted joyfully and seated in a comfy booth and was promptly served my cup of coffee as I sat down.They boast on their menu about being voted best breakfast I couldn’t decide between the #3 Egg & Biscuit Combo with fresh biscuits and gravy or Philly Omelette with shaved steak, cheese, mushrooms. Both dishes were served with hashbrowns (from frozen) and your choice of toast. I decided to go with the Philly after consulting with my server because having the biscuits would render me useless in a timely manner due to Celiac disease even though I live for some homemade biscuits and gravy. Since it was a social day I played it safe and really enjoyed the flavor of my omelette. The only thing is the canned mushrooms they used. “Stopped in for lunch and had the old Detroiter burger. I gotta say, the guy who made my burger did a great job! I asked for medium and the cook temp was PERFECT! Thank you Charlie!!! The fries were perfectly done as well! You might think so what, it's just burger and fries.well we have all had that disappointment before from a simple meal. You will appreciate Charlie's attention to detail!“

“The atmosphere and music was nice. Ordered the Taco Mexicanos and the carnitas taco was phenomenal. Definitely ordering the carnitas dinner next time (the only other item I could find on the menu which included the carnitas). The place was impeccably clean.“
