What a lovely dining experience! The food was fresh, and so generously portioned! Delicious flavors. We enjoyed our kabobs and the saffron rice; one of our party got the chicken sandwich wrap which was out-of-this-world delicious! The lentil tomato soup was also lovely— warm flavors and a big bowl to enjoy. The bread and the dipping sauce (cucumber??) before the meal was also wonderful— we devoured every last bit. Yum!!! My favorite personally was the baklava, which was delicate, flaky, packed with filling and perfectly balanced. No gooey, syrupy baklava here— just perfection. I cant wait to order a chicken sandwich and piece of baklava again soon! (Ooh, and we had PLENTY to take home— bring your appetite). Gorgeous atmosphere and a really kind, hospitable staff — from the owner to our server, everyone made us feel right at home. It was most enjoyable and a great evening out!Vegetarian options: The salads (Shirazi Salad!!!) are great!

We had the lentil soup, viziri plate with torshi and Baklava. I suggest you not order the meats without the torshi. Excellent food, the owner came to our table to tell us how to mix a eat with the torshi. It was a wonderful experience.

Excellent food, great service. Owner came to the table to explain a few menu options to us and ask about our experience. Portions are large too! Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Please help fill this place up and support a local owner serving great food. It was very light on traffic for a Thursday dinner, but that is definitely no reflection of the food and service.

The Backyard grill is a great place for a Persian meal. The owner takes great pride in his food which he preps himself. The servings are large enough for two. The flavors are pleasant and comfy. Try it, I think you will enjoy the food and the quiet unassuming atmosphere as well.

This was my first time trying Persian food and I'm really glad it was at this restaurantThe inside is very nicely decorated and the Waiter was paitent in answering all of the questions we had. the food portions are large and it was easy to find parking. Some of the standouts were the Mast-O-Khiar , it's a yogurt that is soo deliciously seasons I forgot I had a entree coming , I could have ate this all day!,the Perisan Tea is brewed really well here. It's very aromic ,pairs well with the meal if you like tea you would like this resturants persian tea

This restaurant needs to be immediately put on your to do list. The owner has done a terrific job in creating a space that’s clean upscale and inviting. But that’s not all, the food and the capabilities of the cooks are outstanding. The owner and staff come to your table and explain The benefits of Persian food, their own personal story and provide a service that out standing It feels like being hosted in someone’s home, and the food is way beyond the normal staples that we all have become accustomed to
