We go to breweries everywhere, and Brass Ring has the best beers ever! We've tried every one, and they are all amazing!!! And the food is phenomenal too! I just wish we lived closer!!!

Stumbled on this neighborhood gem on accident and could not be happier we did. We love the fresh, vegetarian friendly menu, amazing beer, and friendly service. If you have never had the pleasure of enjoying a cask beer be sure to try it out.

Best beer I’ve ever had, hands down. Staff is friendly and the bar is always full of friendly locals. Don’t want it to get too popular but cannot recommend Brass Ring more highly. The Irish Red Ale is my favorite beer and I’ve yet to be let down by any of the food on the menu

Honestly my favorite restaurant/brewery in Grand Rapids. Every time I’ve been here I’ve been blown away by the food. Everything is AMAZING. So tasty, made from scratch and the vibes of the restaurant and friendliness of the staff is unbeatable. The beer is great! I also love all the specials on food! So many items I still want to try! Here’s a pic of the corned beef dinner (amazing) and the deviled eggs (also amazing).

The beer is simply fantastic. For some reason they also have the best hamburger in town. Thanks Chef!5/5 no notes

Bring back the fried pickles!!!! Love this place but so disappointed they got rid of the fried pickles, they were the best. Butter chicken nanrito is always delicious as well.

Great food and a wonderful atmosphere. We walked in and there was love music that transported you an old English pub, which was awesome! If there wouldn't have been music, it would still have been great. Trying a cask and draft version of the same beer is a great way to understand the difference

Brass Ring is my local pub, and it’s cozy and quiet and friendly. Even on a busy Saturday night, it feels homey. The beer is unmatched: always ask what they have in cask and indulge in a pour! The curry fries are my favorite thing on the menu. I do wish they had a bit more in the way of vegetarian/vegan fare (and sometimes they do, the menu updates somewhat frequently) but I’m happy to eat fancy fries and drink delicious beer most nights of the week.

New to area and have visited 3 times in the past month and have been impressed by consistently tasty food and excellent friendly service. Great vibe in comfy setting with live Irish music one night. Cask beer is awesome! Try it, you’ll love it!

Brass Ring Brewery is a small family owned, friendly neighborhood brewery and the owners are hands on. The beers are excellent, with a good selection of West Coast IPA's. Every beer I tried was balanced and flavorful. The food menu is also excellent. I had the Bangers and Perogies, perfectly prepared and delicious! This small craft brewery is my favorite in the Grand Rapids area!

Always great fun here. Best "gift cards" ever sold. It's a large heavy coin.Food and chefs are amazing, so is all the wait staff. Stopped in for a pint, and they had a battle of the chefs event, where each made their own unique slider. Cast my vote, but truly awesome food.Great English pub style vibes and beer, top notch food.

Chris & Karen, two recovering attorneys, opened this place a little over 5 yrs ago and both the menu & beer selection have been steadily increasing. The most recent addition is a BBQ smoker and the wife and I went up to try it out. Extraordinary. The sides of cole slaw, mac & cheese, and a healthy chunk of cornbread were all generous. No wonder why the place has people waiting to get in. Do yourself a favor and make a trip to come to Alger Heights and enjoy Brass Ring Brewing.

I had a couple Pale Ale's and feasted on a steaming bowl of chicken pot pie. This is comfort food at its finest. That meal was like a warm sweater for my belly. I enjoy the local neighborhood feel and the relaxed vibe that makes me wish I had a cardigan and a pair warm slippers to go with my meal.

My friends and I came in with a party of 4 on a Tuesday that unexpectedly turned into a full dining room/ out door seating for the staff on the last sunny/ warm day of the year. I observed that they were understaffed for the volume of people in their dining room and packed outdoor seating. Our waiter and the only other waiter we saw for a full house did a beautiful job of bouncing between tables, being attentive to every drink, and kind throughout the rush. I 100% believe that these two waiters with a full house sustained a great atmosphere and enjoyable experience. All in all we waited 45 minutes for our food but we didn’t care, the environment this staff created was conducive of good conversations and fellowship, any other restaurant I would’ve walked out of but these employees worked their butt off and proved its truly the people that make a place great.
