I went here as I live close by. I went in and sat at the bar, was waited on immediately. I let the bartender make me a drink she designed. A spin on an old fashioned, with rum and pineapple whiskey, very tasty! I got a lime fizz and OMG, so flipping good! I let bartender decide on my third and she did me right with a delicious old fashioned that was smokey and just plain delicious. Not only were the drinks perfect, she used a straw to taste what she made before serving a mark of a true professional. Being into the culinary arts you MUST taste what you nake prior to serving and drinks are no different. Great job! Highly recommend this place for top notch drinks....and good "bar snacks" too.

This is one of my most attended cocktail lounges for so many reasons.The service is absolutely exceptional, the cocktails are ahead of their time for Grand Rapids, and the atmosphere is unique, warm, welcoming, and just an overall ~vibe~. Highly recommend to anyone looking to impress a first date or just to share an amazing cocktail with your friends/loved ones. No food so definitely eat before!

Absolutely terrible experience. My friend said this was one of his favorite places so we were optimistic. We walked in and the place was not busy. We did not feel welcomed and felt like our presence was not at all appreciated as paying customers. 1. The seats we asked for, we were told they wanted to keep them for parties of five, even though we were a party of four and they were not busy. 2. We received very condescending responses to out questions about which drinks were batch drinks and which were hand crafted. It was a very simple question, but it was met with such a negative attitude, we opted to leave and go somewhere. I hope this was an isolated incident, but it was enough for the is to decide we did not want to stay where we were not welcome.

THIS PLACE IS A GEM INSIDE OF A GEM!!! I had NO clue this place existed...I was there for a comedy show(which was very entertaining) and to catch up with the people that invited me. The inside has a decor that instantly gives you a feeling of comfort and ease. Its literally through and through from the lights to the mixture of laid-back seats. The bar staff had the drinks looking like commercials lol, very friendly, knowledgeable and great timing. This is a place you will call "My favorite little go to spot!" The BEST part of it all NO SCREENS hanging anywhere!!!

The atmosphere and decor were amazing. Unfortunately, the service was disappointing. Within the first 5 mins of our arrival and greeting each other in our group the bartender spoke to several different people complaining we were standing and we had to be in a seat with a drink. He gave us several dirty looks and several of my party felt uncomfortable with his attitude. My husband who sat at the bar had something directly leaking on him from the roof. The bartender just gave him a towel like it was nothing. We were also charge 20% gratuity without notice, which is bold considering how unwelcome our group felt. I spent $40 on 2 drinks and it wasn't a great experience. Definitely do not go here with any sort of group, you won't be welcome. It was a Tuesday night and it wasn't busy enough to warrant his rude, aggressive behavior about sitting down and ordering a drink before we barely took off our coats.
