Favorite breakfast spot in GR! Staff is always wonderful, food is delish, and the history and aesthetic is adorable.

This is my favorite breakfast restaurant in town. I recommend "Tommy's special" which is Avocado toast that has shaved lamb and goat cheese on top. I attached a picture since it's not on the actual menu. If you tell them for "Tommy's special that involves avocado toast" the server should know what you're referring to. Trust me, it's amazing. Service is excellent. Ambiance is cozy and warm.

Delicious breakfast, warm atmosphere. The restrooms could really use an update as they felt kinda cramped and not as nice as the resteraunt itself. But that's something that can easily be overlooked.

I’ve eaten here twice, and the food is of great quality. My only problem is that both the times I have dined-in, the staff will stare me down. I have no clue if it’s due to looking young, eating alone, or if they believe I’m going to dine-and-dash; Regardless, it’s uncomfortable, and very hard to eat when this happens.I came in again today, just to give it another try, and will not be coming back.

Had to Walk a long way to get there as there is no close parking. It was worth it and the weather was beautiful.

We were in GR for a girls' brunch. I chose Cherie Inn for the menu and the ambiance, specifically the fresh flowers which are touted on the website. Sadly, our table had no flowers! We ordered three Mocha-Chocolate-Latte-Ya-Yas and a water to begin. The whipped topping & sprinkles were a cute touch, but it was a pack of hot cocoa mix added to their hazelnut coffee. Probably not really worth $4, but cute. The service was attentive, but not overbearing. The food was delicious--we ordered Crab Cake Benny, Sausage Bake Scramble, Eggs Florentine, and Cranberry Walnut French Toast. Everyone was pleased, and said they would return. I did miss the fresh flowers, though.

I had the best bacon ever, my husband had andouille sausage and really loved it. The taste is just incredible. The atmosphere is so nice and Jamie our waitress was uniquely impressive and passionate with her service and recommendations. I can’t recommend this place enough.

Absolutely superior brunch experience. We waited about five minutes for a table on a Saturday late morning. The host Michael was ON IT - attentive, friendly, fun, and organized. The coffee was just so delicious. The crab benedict was exquisite!!! It as probably the best benedict I've ever had in my life. I'm literally eating the leftovers right now (it somehow tastes better today?!). The atmosphere was elevated Midwest friendly, and made us want to be regulars there. Excited to be back one day and try more off the menu. A must stop while in Grand Rapids, for anyone!Parking: We found free street parking on Lake Dr, right in front of an entrance
