Great place, pretty small and cozy, not like a Buffalo Wild Wings where you're bumping into people every second. The service is great everyone is so welcoming and the food is great as well. So many options, I recommend the firecracker, garlic parm, and honey bbq.

First time eating here and the food and service was good. I got 10 boneless wings. Five were Carolina gold and the other five were garlic parm and I got some cornbread.

I went to DWC - Knapps Crossings for the first time today. I wanted something different than my usual for lunch. My first impression is that there was really low energy in the place. This wasn't for lack of traffic - it's a total dude magnet with guys coming in constantly to pick up orders they'd placed ahead of time. It was just not welcoming, I guess? Darkish, sparsely "furnished" - just kind of a pick up counter - glorified. The person taking the orders was also a person working in the kitchen, and while she was not rude, she wasn't warm/friendly, either. I stood and looked at the menu for a while, and she never asked if I had questions - partially, because she was too busy. I just felt like it was a figure-it-out type place. She was all business.I sat at one of the stools on the counter attached to the wall to wait for my wings and seasoned tots. It was then that I realized that they really aren't set up for eating there. If there are more than two people - you're going to have to go across the street to BW3. Or - line the wall on the small countertop, side by side. Is that a bad thing? Not unless you want to eat there.I watched people pick up their orders. I could definitely tell a difference in the greeting to people who were regulars at DWC. They said hello, everyone smiled, small talk, cheerful... etc. But if you're not part of the regular club - no. No friendly for you. As I sat watching this, it bothered me a little bit.I was getting my wings to go. It took about 12-13 minutes, and when it was my turn to pick up my wings, the same woman who took my order was cheerful and wished me a good day with a beautiful smile. I was surprised by the change of demeanor and felt so mixed. Everyone has bad days, so maybe it was an incredibly busy/stressful day in the kitchen, perhaps they were short staffed, I'd have to go again to know. But I'd really like to feel a warm/welcoming atmosphere when I get there.I got home and unpacked my container. I ordered the six piece, classic wings combo with seasoned tater tots. I had Blue Cheese for my dip (VERY good) and honey BBQ for the wings(Also VERY good). The wings were drenched in sauce - and I LOVE that! If you don't look like a clown while eating classic wings - there's not enough sauce. And the Honey BBQ was wonderful! If you're not a sauce person - then ask for it on the side, or "light" on the sauce. You won't have to ask for extra like you do most places, that's for sure! The wings were fresh, moist and VERY good. They were repeatable... and with at least 15ish sauces from which to choose -you'll find one you like.I'll try a different side next time. The "seasoned tots" lacked seasoning (which is what really appealed to me). They were just basic tater tots, and a few were crunchier than they needed to be (I bake mine at home, so I like them a little softer). I will add, that for a "small side," there was an abundance of tater tots - so don't be put off by the "small side" with the combo. What did sound amazing are the brussels sprouts... but not at +$6.99 (discount) with the combo. I wish I could have gotten them as a side. Even if it's a smaller portion.Overall, the wings won me over. I'd never plan to do anything but takeout for lack of good seating, darkness, and no fountain pop, but if the wings are always this fresh/moist and good - I'll go back and keep trying the different sides.Parking: The parking lot is chaotic and people fly through there. It's busy at lunch. You'll find a spot, but go slow and watch out for crazies!

This spot is really good just expensive. I would just get the wings next time and make my own fries at home.
