I dined at the Jdek in the dome and it was a very well put together experience. They provided a heater, speaker and lights for the dome. It was plenty warm and the lights around the dome at night added to the atmosphere.For the food, we got the wild boar dish, Scottish salmon, oyster appetizer and the old fashioned for 2. The food was amazing, I personally recommend the wild boar dish! We also got a complimentary dessert to celebrate our anniversary.Overall a very fun and elegant experience. In order to improve the experience I would suggest waiting to put the water carafes in the domes until the customer sits down since the water was very warm when we got there. I would also add that the price for the cocktails are a bit expensive but I do know they use quality ingredients. It was our first time and the experience was amazing. Melissa was great and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was delicious and prepared perfectly. Will definitely be going back.
Went in to celebrate an anniversary and Liz made the experience exceptional! A tad bit pricy, but worth it. Liz helped tremendously when it came to choosing meals and made sure we were comfortable with what we ordered. Coming from someone who is “picky” with food, both the lamb and the Filet Au Poivre were really good.

I fully anticipated paying for the atmosphere but fancy food that was good but not great. Man was I pleasantly surprised. Our food was fantastic, start to finish! Fresh with great flavors! We had the oysters, beef tartar, prawns, wild boar ragu, and a cheese cake.The igloo was just a bonus. Everything was excellent and we’ll definitely be back.

Enjoyed the private dinner with my date. The dome was nicely set up and heat was perfect within the dome and the provided blanket on my lap just made it that much more comfortable. Will do this date outing again!
Brandon was a great waiter very up beat and when we requested more sauce he was right on it. He was super knowledgeable of the menu and made great suggestions especially upgrading my steak frites to the truffle fries he also brought us bread upon request and made multiple trips to bring napkins and light our candles even when I accidentally snuffed them out. Me and my girlfriend spent our evening in the dome and they had romantic candles and rose petals on the table it was awesome. Very cold night outside especially windy but the domes heaters and blankets made it nice and toasty inside. We have the steak frites the valentines walleye and two desserts, the crème brule and the gingerbread cheesecake. The steak was a little bit salty but cooked to that perfect rare+ just like I requested and the truffle fries were great. My ladies walleye was a small portion but very tasty the side of white asparagus was excellent. The deserts were decent but not the best I have ever had.

I had several special requests because I proposed to my now fiancé. Michelle was the supervisor that set up everything. She was fantastic to work with!!! Carly was our server and was equally fantastic!!! Both are tremendous at what they do and are fine representatives of the establishment. I have shared photos of the night with friends and family and each time I talked up the JDEK experience and I highly recommend them.

Had the best service outside in the igloo at 5:15 today. We got the cauliflower the charcuterie the Mac n cheese, a couple salads and onion soup and dranks. Beautiful at sunset, plenty warm. I think our servers name was Allison, pretty younger blonde- she went above and beyond. Would be a great date night spot.

Absolutely loved dining in the domes. Staff was very accommodating & attentive. Could request blankets if you needed them but it was quite toasty in there. I ate with short sleeves on. Food was incredible as always & our server Liz was the best! There's a speaker for you to have your own music. Would love to go back!

Shout out to the front desk ladies, servers, food delivery, chefs and anyone that made this a wonderful experience. So much love for the JDEK Margaux family!
Emma was a great server and knew the beverages and menu well! She was friendly and prompt and made my birthday celebration in the igloos run smoothly and a memorable evening was had by all!

The ambience couldn't be beat (because you set it yourself), the food was good, and the service exemplary. Highly recommend that others check this spot out on your next visit to Grand Rapids.

What a fun time, during a rather blizzard like night. We had several of the specials they had that evening. I was not as impressed as I hoped to be my their menu. However the mushrooms from their roast chicken a la grand-mere were to die for.Their specialty drink names are fun and intriguing. I had basic instinct, a coffee note drink that was that perfect balance of festive sweet liquor flavors.They provided a speaker for our music and the view combination was magical. We were entranced by the evening and the atmosphere. The downside was that I was very cold throughout the night, and was surprised to barely feel the heat coming from the heater.

Summery of my review: EAT HERE !!! My boyfriend and I like to try out new "fancy" restaurants for special occasions. I reserved a table here for his birthday this year and the whole experience was incredible. Reserving a table was easy, and when I called requesting a certain spot in the restaurant, they accommodated us. We got the cheesy pesto flatbread as an appetizer and it was just alright, but our main dishes (steak frites & roasted chicken) were AMAZING! My boyfriend is a big steak guy and he said it's one of the best he's ever had. I tried it as well and agree. It has this incredible crust around the outside that really enhances the flavor and texture. My roasted chicken was cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. I got coffee and my boyfriend got an old fashioned and they were both amazing as well. Our server was very kind. Our table was just a little circle table with a candle in the middle but it was cute and romantic, just how we like it! They even gave us a free dessert for his birthday. We will absolutely be going back!
