A friend and I went here today March 30 2024 immediately when we walked in my friend said the place smelled sweaty and stale but we decided to give it a shot anyway. We got our food to the table to find that it was cold. When inspecting the crayfish they had not been purged before cooking very gritty and mudvein packed full even the egg drop soup was cold. When I brought it to the staffs attention the owner told me I was wrong and that everything was supposed to be that way. When I explained that the crayfish werent purged he kept talking about how you cant devein them before survingand that the steam trays were up all the way. I tried to explain that you have to purge them before you cook and that the food was still cold people would get sick if they weren't to wich he replied well thats how everywhere else does it, which I know is a lie! Than he started saying he knew me and I always give him a hard time, I have literally been to this location twice in my life and last time I didnt even say anything when I left because I was generally satisfied. However this time I was not impressed and wanted to notify them and was treated very poorly by someone who claimed to be the "person incharge" weather that be the owner or the manager it was still unacceptable. Definitely would not recommend if I could give 0 stars I would!

So if you’re in the Kentwood area, this is definitely one of the better Chinese buffet restaurants. I’ve been coming here for years and have never really been disappointed. It’s pretty much what you’d expect. They don’t have the largest selection but I’d say that the options available are pretty good (coconut shrimp, good variety of chicken, a couple of choices in noodles, different seafood varieties and good sushi options).Also, some of the fortunes in their fortune cookies are pretty funny.Kid-friendliness: Totally kid-friendly.Wheelchair accessibility: Didn’t see any obstructions for wheel-chair users.

It took almost two hours to prepare the food, I had to cancel the order, terrible service, I do not recommend.
