went to Firehouse's Cascade location in Grand Rapids last night, arriving at 8:30. The polite server told me only online or Doordash orders were being accepted and would not personally take my order. So, I downloaded their app and made it to checkout, where it said my earliest time for checkout was 10:30 am the following day. Consequently, I couldn't order the food. So, I showed the server the timing issue and asked him again, "can I order from you, we're both right here." He politely responded, "No, you'll have to use Doordash." With no way to easily order, I wished the server a nice weekend and went elsewhere to spend money. Make it easier for your customers to spend money and enjoy a sandwich. I gave one star because the server was kind, but helpless given the store's protocols. Thank you.

Ordered firehouse today in store. My first sub was made wrong, wasn’t offered a refund or an opportunity to fix the sub. Had to wait back in line and pay more money for a second sub, just for that to be wrong too. $30 later and 2 wrongly made subs.

I arrived inside to place an order to go at 8:30pm. When I tried ordering a pizza meatball sub, I was told the meatballs were already put away for the night. Once I finished my order (4 subs), an employee turned out the lights in the dining room and locked the doors. Mind you, this store closes at 9pm. There was still 30 minutes to serve customers. Then, when my order was up I took the bag and and began pulling my subs out just to be sure they were correct before I left. I was told by the same employee that I was not allowed to sit in the dining room because it closed at 8:30. I wasn't planning to sit in the dining room, but if I was, I should have been fine to do so, as the store hours are to 9pm! This store has some very rude and unprofessional employees working the night shift and I will be making a call to the corporate office to share my thoughts with them as well.

Really disappointed. They just decided not to put any veggies on our sandwiches without asking us if we wanted them or not. There was a woman before us who had this complaint and we didn't take notice when the guy said he never puts veggies in sandwiches unless people ask because it's such a bizarre thing to do, it didn't register until we got home and realized he wasn't joking. We also had no veggies which made the sandwich bland. I also didn't have mustard. Even stranger is that they don't have a set up like subway where you can talk to them as they make your sandwiches, so why they aren't making sandwiches as advertised is beyond me. Was our first time going and we won't be back.

They are stealing money from customers. I ordered food on the app and paid with my cc. I get to the store and they said the order didn't print out so they refused to make my food, even after I showed them the receipt and my credit card statement showing it was charged. They told me to use the contact us section on the app. So I did that. It took them 6 days to send me an email saying they can't help and that I need to speak to the store manager or owner. It's been 8 days now and I still have not got my food I paid for, and, or no refund. Stay away from firehouse subs and the app.

Ordered a fountain drink and free ladder sub tmobile offer but was told only the drink came through and no sub would be given. Manager/owner was so rude, my first and last visit to your restaurant! Now I can’t use the code. I was ridiculed by the manager/owner for wanting a refund for the soda since I was being treated rudely and no longer wanted any business done with the store. I’d never go into any of your stores after this. This was extremely frustrating. The owner was clearly upset but why should it have to endure her being upset about my choice to use an offer. She made it very clear my pop was only $3 but I was going to receive a $14.99 sub but I didn’t and no longer wanted a side. Pathetic customer service. That person has no place in hospitality. I happily have helped guests and customers in the park with deals, heck I’ll even point out there’s better ways to order things to get a deal. The funniest part was a young girl in teens or early twenties was next to her mentioning what people were doing and the location it was working at… why a child compared to an owner knows how to b better handle a small adversity

Painfully slow for what it is. Food is good, and always served warm however I can’t wrap my head around what takes so long to get your sandwich. They typically have 3-4 people doing toppings. And you wait 10-15 minutes to get a sandwich.

I ordered food on the app and paid for it. I drove all the way there just to have them say the order did not print so they can't make my food. I showed them the receipt on the app and my cc receipt showing I was charged and they still said too bad nothing they can do. They were rude and unwilling to resolve the issue. Now I have to call my credit card company to refute the charges. Do not use the app. I sent numerous notes to the contact us section on the app and got no response.
