We just discovered this gem of a Chinese restaurant after being disappointed with our regular place. It is take out only and the prices are surprisingly low. The egg rolls are the best we've ever had! The portions are large. My chicken and vegetables was a combo platter with fried rice and an egg roll. The vegetables were plentiful and fresh. The mei fun is something we've never heard of and the thin noodles were delicious and loaded with shrimp and beef. Lunch specials are 5.95 and come with fried rice, crab Rangoon and a beverage. This is our new go to Chinese take our place!!

Pretty decent Chinese food that's quick and affordable. You just call and order, they don't take a name or payment, but food is almost always ready within 15 minutes. Usually I'm able to make 2 meals out of my 1 dish because it's a lot of food. I think they have small seating but overall it's carry out.

Fu Garden is not what you expect from a small Chinese take-out restaurant. The vegetables are always fresh and crunchy, the chicken is tender eating with no gristle. It's all flavored very well by a chef who really knows how to balance flavors. Lots of food for the money here, too, I don't know how they do that.

Don't let this private small take-out restaurant discourage you from trying them!There food is always fantastic. And you pay for extremely generous portions. They have the best prices of any Chinese Take Out in Grand Rapids MI and the best food always with generous portions.They make it fast, with quality and always package it well.I have always loved their food.Although I now live on the Southeast side of town, I would rather order from them than anywhere else. I have never, ever been disappointed.There food rivals any full service Chinese Restaurant.Give it a try. You won't be disappointed!

I love supporting small businesses, so it pains me to give a negative review. The food was good, but the place was filthy. Every table was dirty and sticky and the bathroom…I couldn’t use it it was so dirty. Even the walls were dirty. Ugh!It left me concerned for the cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen.

I started going to this place since it was close-by and it's good for budget; I love it. I've had other Chinese food from other places but I always find myself returning to this one because the other's I've tried simply cannot compare. It's quick, always warm, a very good portion for an individual, and reliable. I'll definitely keep coming back here, and also: there are so many food options! I don't think I'll ever grow out of this place since there are so many options to move onto if I get tired of the old thing. If you are close-by, swing by; guy is super sweet and the feel of the small place is inviting :)

Love that this place is just take out, makes things faster and easier. If you Google the restaurant, the prices are different than in person just an FYI. Also, when you place the order over the phone, have the staff verify; I ordered smaller portions however was charged for and received the larger portions. The food however was great!! It was piping hot when I picked it up and absolutely delicious with a fresh taste. The egg drop soup was thick how I like it and the egg rolls were massive! The quart of shrimp fried rice was more than enough for dinner and lunch the next day and they give you the items in microwave safe containers. I have found my new favorite Chinese take out.
