It’s fine. I’ve been once, and ordered soft serve with salted caramel and cookie dough. There was so much cookie dough that every bite tasted like nothing but cookie dough - which I’m sure doesn’t sound bad, but it became a chore by the end, to finish the cup of one-dimensional flavor. On the rare occasion I got a bite without cookie dough, I didn’t taste any caramel - nor was any visible, aside from the fact that the ice cream was the color of an old white curtain, implying it may have had two to three drops of caramel mixed in. That said, the staff was very friendly - they just didn’t serve the best ice cream.I wish I had more experience to base this review off of, since I’ve heard some a few good things about this place, but the one experience I have had means I can’t justify going back.

We live in the neighborhood and love that there is an ice cream shop easily walkable. Great selection and the best service!I very much appreciate them giving out peppermint ice cream at Holidays in the Heights, I hadn’t had it in years and this was the BEST I’ve had! Thanks for being an awesome part of the community.

One of the biggest reasons we look forward to summer is because Heights Cream opens again! This literal hole-in-the-wall in Alger Heights has a wonderful variety of ice creams, but our favorite is the flurries. Choose chocolate or vanilla ice cream and whatever toppings you want, and they mix it up for you! And it's pretty quick to get your ice cream too, but it depends on how long the line is. If you also enjoy flurries, my pro recommendation is to visit in September, when they have a special pumpkin cheesecake flurry. It's simply to die for!
