Food is phenomenal, among the best in GR. The coconut curry is like Thai food, but better tasting than any Thai food you can get in the area. The short ribs, the garlic green beans, the spring rolls, the beef tenderloin were all delicious and taste unique. It's also perfect for a gluten free or celiac diet. They have a separate fryer and lots of great GF options, plus a chef who with personal experience eating GF. A great dining experience!Dietary restrictions: Excellent for gluten free.

Excellent experience, highly recommend! It’s a new menu so check it out. The short ribs on the appetizer menu were amazing: a flavor-packed char crust wrapped around a substantial tender rib meat for the perfect combination before the main event. The pho and other noodle dishes were excellent tasting and quite ample in quantity.

After a long wait for food and drinks my coffee came out room temp, and so did my entree. The saving grace was the food was delicious. Next time I'm in the mood for Vietnamese I will order from them again but probably only get take out.

A hidden gem. It's hard to find authentic delicious Vietnamese food in west Michigan. But this hits that perfectly. All the food is delicious and flavorful. Prices are almost too low for what they offer here. Service is also friendly and welcoming.

The food is usually good, but today my food was cooked so hard, I could barely chew it. The spring rolls were literally black. Why would you sent out food that looked like that.

An amazing spot right in the heart of downtown Grand Rapids. Monsoon offers a wide range of food with a Vietnamese flair. Their menu isn’t incredibly large, but offers something for everyone (actually in my case, multiple things!) It’s an incredible restaurant serving even more impressive food that’s definitely worth the extra effort to try.

Everything we ate here was absolutely delicious!!! We got the Vietnamese Bao for an appetizer. Our favorite entree was the Grand Rapids fried rice. The other entree was grilled pork vermicelli noodle and that one was good too but the GR rice was better! Dessert was ube cheesecake and it was to die for. We will definitely be back to try more!!!

Been here 3 times now. Very good every time. Only thing I didn't like was that the duck was pink and bloody. It tasted good but my brain couldn't get over bloody bird meat. Worth a try though.
