Feels like visiting family. I visit Sweetlands every time I come to Grand Rapids and no matter how long it has been the young man in the coffee shop remembers me and remembers my coffee choice. This is a lesson to all businesses, take the time to know your customers and you will never be without business. I have been given a reason other than coffee to visit this coffee shop, friendship. Thank you Sweetlands for making me feel special.

This Sweetland location is always very clean and quiet. The employees are always very friendly and patient. The coffee is really good. Fairly priced coffee as well. We love it.

I love this place. I get chocolate bark and various other chocolates. I moved here from CA and I miss Sees candy, but this is great!

Their coffee is amazing here and their chai tea! Many coffee shops struggle to make a good cup of tea but not Sweetlands. Plus, their gourmet chocolates are amazing and pair nicely with a cappuccino or their Turtle Latte.Dietary restrictions: They offer oat milk for their coffee options.

A great selection of sugar and sugar-free chocolates and candies. The staff is always outstanding on service. That could remodel and renew their look to be more attractive.

My dad always took us to Cheshire and Sweetland's when we were growing up, given it was previously located in the heart of the Creston area. However, since Sweetland moved to a larger location, I haven't had the opportunity to go! It was very easy to find, parking was pretty simple (while there aren't a ton of spots, luckily it moves quickly) and the girls working the counter were super friendly. You have to take a ticket when you enter because it got so crowded for the holidays but it was a very well oiled machine. You could either buy some of the pre-packaged gifts (already wrapped!) or any of the items from the display cases. Given it had been a little while since I have been there, I wanted to wander around for a while first. We opted to buy a few items from the display case and you could ask them to gift wrap it for you (perfect for the holidays) or just take it to-go! We definitely did both. While this isn't going to be a super cheat candy/chocolate shop, the quality is definitely high up there and I would really encourage anyone who has a sweet tooth, that wants to support a longstanding locally owned spot, to give this a go! While it's not the most convenient to those that live downtown, Plainfield is a great area and easy to access.

Great, little coffee spot with quality coffees and teas. Chocolates and candy selection with overwhelming options (in a good way) if you're into that. Highly recommend.

Family-owned business of over 100 years with an excellent selection of fairly priced Valentines gift boxes. Someone held the door for me on my way in, my clerk was excellent, then someone held door for me on the way out. Great experience.

The staff is super helpful and always seems to be up for a challenge. I went in looking for some classroom birthday treats, and they helped my kids put together some unique treat bags. A great selection of scratch made candies along side the more typical mass-produced stuff, a great place to get some gifts.

Sweetlands is one of Grand Rapids Wonder s. Has been around for as long as I have been in G.R. You want candy and nuts? How about a fresh brew of coffee? Sweetland has a large variety of the above mentioned. Their associates have always gone above and beyond. The positive energy makes Sweetland.

Love that they have a drive thru and that there are seasonal unique drinks. My favorites are the Lavender Honey latte, Rose Cardamom Latte and their Pumpkin pie spiced latte. Best part is they always have oat milk in stock unlike other big chain coffee shops. Another perk is they have fantastic fresh pastries from another local business Field & Fire.
