My first time at this restaurant, and I'm in love. They had me at Soul Food Wrap! It's Sunday dinner in a fried wrap ?. OMG! If u like chicken, greens, black eyed peas or catfish, then u need to take a trip. Satisfaction guaranteed.

Was double charged talk to chefdee vee whichever is her name I came from Illinois to visit and was charged twice on the day I left to go back home was told I would be credited the money back fair exchange for food but when I came back to visit acted like we never talked or they knew nothing about over charge and she told me she had to talk with owner I really liked the place but overcharging my account and then talk to someone and reach a agreement get all the way here and they not hold their end up is beyond me

Not Fatman approved, Southern Smoke, Fatman approved. The Pigeon sized chicken was pretty good. The sides Mac n Cheese and the salty green beans were on the greasy side. The Carmel cake tasted as if it was frozen then thawed out. I will remain a Souther Smoke customer...!

Food was fantastic and also affordable!! Ordered the family meal (6 PCs of chicken) with Mac, greens, green beans and then came with 4 PCs of sweet potato cornbread. Also can generally have some desserts not listed online like pecan tarts or peach cobbler!

It was my first time eating there and their digital menu was down and the staff wasn't knowledgeable about what they offer since I knew what the online menu offered. It's suppose to be a Christian base restaurant and I didn't feel like the establishment held up to their name.

Extremely disappointed ☹️. Just moved to the area and my family and I love local mom and pop restaurants. Nowhere online did this say it wasn't a dine in restaurant!! It needs to be listed . Got there and its more of a catering place and take out. Not setup for dine in.

So, being honest.... the service was fine and the food is ok. I went for the perch dinner multiple reviews talk about. But they only had 1 piece of perch available. So, I ended up with that piece of fish and a piece of catfish. Along with greens, Mac n cheese, and a separate side of black-eyed peas. I spent just over 20 dollars. And I was charged an additional .25 cents for tartar sauce, even though I was purchasing a fish meal. Like, huh, shouldn't at least one sauce come with it.... anyway, was it worth it?.... Meh. The fish was well seasoned, but the sides were nothing to write home about. And the free piece of famous corn bread you get with your meal... is a joke. Seriously, that was so tiny. Honestly, after tasting it, you dont mind that it's small because you dont want to eat it. It was dense and flavorless. I was hungry, the food satisfied that but I probably won't be going back.
