This should have been a solid 4 star experience given the tasty food and prompt service. However, this business has decided to participate in the dubious practice of sneaking 3% upcharge on the entire bill claiming it's for "rising costs". If that is true, update the menu. This practice should be banned. It's shady and breaks trust with your customers. Be upfront with your customers. If it costs 14.85 to serve me a meal, don't tell me it's 14.50 then hike the price on the check. You wouldn't expect this behavior anywhere. Imagine buying groceries or a snack at the vending machine then being told you actually owe another 3% to settle the transaction just because.

Great service. Great food. Coffee is amazing. We always get the French press and every time it's delicious . Food is always fresh and never changes. The sourdough bread has the best flavor. Only place my husband will order biscuits and gravy. My daughter started getting the kids grilled cheese and adds ham and she loves it. I was asked to update my review and no change this place is good every time.

We visited this restaurant on Sunday 1/28. The food was fantastic. It was well prepared and it was presented very well. They have so many options. The service was fantastic. We had a waitress that was very pleasant, friendly and speedy. She did a very good job. However, the manager or shift leader made the entire experience terrible. At one point, this individual gathered up all of the wait staff and began to berate them out loud. The entire restaurant could hear the conversation. The manager kept droning on about how the waitresses need to be faster and to do less talking. It was really unprofessional. You could visibly see the frustration on the wait staff. It doesn't matter what conversation needs to be had, as a manager, you should be doing that in private or at least in an area to where customers cannot openly hear everything. It really ruined the experience. I might return, but if that's how management views the customers and their workers, I'll find another breakfast restaurant to eat at.
Excellent experience! I couldn’t have been happier!

I got the Mushroom & Spinach Eggs Benedict, which was absolutely to die for! The tomato bisque wasn’t what I expected, but it was probably the best tomato bisque that I’ve ever tasted. The service here was wonderful, the waitresses were nice, very attentive, and had great recommendations. Definitely the spot to go for your breakfast food needs.Parking: Free parking for the restaurant is offered a little further down the street.

The food literally made me queasy just looking at it. Ordered biscuits and gravy. Took one bite of each: eggs, biscuits/gravy, and hash browns. Disgusting! The gravy was a grayish dark paste that somehow appeared like it had been sitting overnight. I couldn’t find the biscuits until I burrowed into the gravy. I’ve never eaten flat fried disks. Usually, biscuits are tall and fluffy or if they’re horrid, they are dense and white. These appeared brown as if they were deep-fried silver dollar pancakes. Nothing to sop up the gravy. The hash browns were pale and came in one large lump like an omelette. No crispy strands, just a bland blob. I wasn’t going to complain because it’s not the fault of the server. However, when I asked for my bill, she asked what was bad about it and as I said my first sentence, she cut me off defending the food, “Its homemade.” She was cut off in return when I asked for a pen to sign the receipt. I left a tip like normal so they knew I wasn’t a mooch just trying to get something for free. It really was sad. The only thing I wanted to do was invite them over for a home-cooked meal at my house to show them how it’s done. I basically bought a $21 cup of coffee and I am starving! Wish I knew how to post a pic. (I figured it out. Check out my plate I left).

It was just ok. Our waitress was nice enough, but certainly had too many tables. The food was just ok. All the staff just seemed panicked.
Delicious food with very friendly staff. A very simple menu and they are very prompt on bringing your order out I definitely recommend this
