I try to give places the benefit of the doubt for wait time. However, it is very hard to not be frustrated when you wait 25-30 min for a single smoothie with only two people are in line ahead of you who also have small orders, and with no explanation or apology for the wait provided. I especially was frustrated as the smoothie was for a patient I was visiting in the ER. Smoothie was apparently fine, but the wait was hard to justify. It was a first time visit at this location, so it may be an outlier but disappointing nevertheless.

I'll try to avoid hurling insults and cursing here.I ordered the chipotle chicken club flatbread with no bacon.I got the sandwich, and it had bacon on it.I made it known, along with the receipt that I ordered it with no bacon.I got the sandwich back only to find that not only is the bacon gone, but so are the tomato.Now, I have to assume that my tomato left with the bacon, thus making the order wrong again, and I'm sure there's still bacon grease on it.I tipped with my order.Now I'd like a full refund, because I'm sure if I ever get a replacement, it'll be wrong again.

Service horrible, owner horrible, management not trained, there’s too many steps to get a refund for food that was never delivered although you ordered from their site. The owner gives you the run around. Owner name is Heather at the 1045 Michigan street location and she is just as goofy as the service. If I could give 0 stars, I would. Ordered food from website and never received it. When contacted about refund she simply said "text my number and give me a little information " first of all "TEXT" seemed like a scam, snotty attitude and all around just bad with helping me. Never going back to this business and I wish nothing but closure on her business. Better yet go get some business training . Incompetent "quote on quote" business owner. If your having problems with the delivery service how about you go through other food delivery services

If we could give no stars, we would. Order a smoothie, 2 wraps, 1 without tomato bc of food allergy. Get to our destination 25min away. Lots of tomatoes falling out of wrap. Called x2. Spoke with"manage" Mykaylah . She wasn't concerned just said next time you come through we will make it right. 1 we don't live by there, 2 it's a liability to not be concerned about allergies. Then not give name of store manager and thenhang up on us and then would not answer calls. You should be concerned and take your job and allergies more seriously. Dignity respect morals responsibility. This is what your employees need to be trained on. You will end up losing your store at this rate.

The staff here has really gone down hill. Slow service and the last order I had hair in my food. Which is easily explained as no one here wears hair or beard coverings. The smoothie didn't really taste like it usually does. Also my food was sitting there and my smoothie hadn't even been started so my smoothie wasn't the only cold thing I got that day. I definitely will be going to another location in the future.

I am a big fan of Tropical Smoothie Cafe as a chain, but this location is not up to their standards. I have been treated rudely at this located in the past but nothing that would warrant any action. But I recently was served the wrong food. I ordered a hummus wrap and smoothie. I was served the correct smoothie and a quesadilla. This is inexcusable in my opinion.

We were first in the drive through line and could see in the store. There was no one else there. It took 15+ mins for 2 breakfast burritos. That's all we ordered and when we got home and looked one of them was a tiny roll up basically. This was disappointing. No apologies for the wait.

Love Tropical Smoothie but absolutely avoid this location. The are so slow and rude then have the audacity to ask for a tip after waiting 20 min for a smoothie. Also you can not get out of line so you are stuck waiting for them to get to you whenever they feel like it.

My family had become frequent customers of this location for the past 6 months and had found the service and quality to be pretty decent. Over the last month that has changed drastically. I don't know what happened but the Owner and staff have become unapologetically rude and difficult. They regularly have the dining room doors locked and just decide not to serve you. I have gone in when the entire place smells like marijuana and the staff has family members just hanging out in the dining room. It is completely inappropriate. Yesterday my husband went through the drive thru at 7pm and didn't arrive home until well after 8:30pm without the correct order. He tried to resolve the problem and waited in the parking lot for an hour to have 2 wraps remade. The employees locked up the store and never brought the wraps out to him. When he tried to get their attention they treated him as if he was a belligerent liar. Apparently the Owner and her boyfriend were there but would not resolve the problem and allowed things to escalate. The Owner's boyfriend called my husband a douche and accused him of being sexist. When my husband returned today to discuss this with the Owner in person she was uncooperative and hostile. The dialog would seem as though my husband is the bad guy in this scenario but based on the 3.4 star google rating and the 230 reviews stating that the employees can't get an order correct I think it is safe to say he is not the one lying. The Owner has refused to provide a receipt, a correction on the order, or a refund. In my opinion, this is theft.

Love the location! I frequent this place because it’s so close. I typically place online orders through their app opposed to drive thru due to subpar service (incorrect order, inconsistency of ring-ups/pricing, slow). I get it - they’re a busy spot. Today there was a long line of cars and the lobby was closed - again, busy and understaffed, I get it. I tried the front door to pick up my online order, and the person working opened it to let me know it was closed, she could not hand me the smoothie, and I would have to join the line of cars ordering through drive thru. The rudeness before shutting the door in my face made me not even want it anymore. Fridays are great though - seems the owner or manager is usually there with a friendly attitude and seamless operations.

Great smoothies. I recommend better signage for your drive-thru. It is nearly impossible to find the entrance because there is no sign.

So, I used the online feedback system to request a refund for said smoothie. I even noted how nice the girl running the food line was, but simply stated the young man on the smoothie line missed a smoothie. On my next visit, my food was very obviously tampered with. My Kaleslaw was half full and had a hair in it, and my flatbread had paper in it (who knows what else). The owner refuses to acknowledge that her employees would do such a thing, won't be bothered to watch camera footage, or refund the ruined food. Proceed with extreme caution! Who knows the lengths these kids will go to when they know management will let them.
