I wanted some mexican but wanted some place different. Google steered me to this place. Two words. Salty but yummy!I was seated right away but took a few mins before my drink order was taken. It was busy, so acceptable. Cici was my server. FriendlyChips n salsa came shortly afterwards. The salsa is actually pretty good.My food finally came. Lots of salt in rice and beans, but they were good. I got the fajitas chimichanga. Really good flavor, worth the price.Got fried ice cream, it was ok.All in all, a great visit with good food!Follow me for more candid reviews across Michigan! An honest review- this is my second time going- our first experience was great and we loved the food and vibe so we came back. The food is good, not authentic Mexican food but it’s very good. The reason I’m leaving 4 stars is because we wanted to sit at the bar with our son to watch the game & it was open. The bartender immediately said she couldn’t serve us because it’s illegal to have a child at the bar- it’s not but we said okay that’s fine we’ll leave. She then came back with an option to sit immediately in a booth which we accepted. I really appreciate that they did not let us leave unhappy however if it’s a restaurant rule that’s fine but it 100% is not illegal in the state to sit at the bar with a child as long as they are accompanied by their parent. We also had very sub par service. We had empty drinks since the food hit our table and our server was busy rolling silverware not paying attention and my husband went to go find her himself at one point for boxes and a check but he couldn’t get her attention - I believe another server saw him and notified her. Anyways. The food is good & the environment is great. The first time we went the service was also top tier.

Great deals on lunch specials, the chicken was tender & juicy. The complementary salsa & chips delicious. But $4.75 for ice teais pretty steep.

This place was good. I ordered the steak burrito. It was good. This place is somewhere in between authentic and white Mexican food. It was pretty good.

Taco portion sizes are great! Chips are gluten free, the salsa is fresh and delicious, and both are complementary. Definitely recommend! Of note, there are no real vegan options from what I could tell.

Best food in town! Their food is consistently delicious and we have never been disappointed. Service is great. The restaurant isn't too loud. If you get take out you will miss out on the chips and salsa but the food is still always hot and seasoned perfectly. Fajita chimichanga is my favorite!

authentic mexican place with a wide variety of options. great food and service. chicken fajitas are great. the street tacos are also good - they do put a lot more filling in some types than others but i’d recommend ordering different types because they all taste great.Kid-friendliness: kid friendly! they have baby seats for littles.

Excellent food and service. My only issue was the setting sun blinded me! Need some blinds on the western wall.

Look, we all know there are a few different levels of Mexican restaurants. We have the "barely qualifies as Mexican food because it's been so Americanized"Think Chi-Chi's or On The Border or Taco Bell.We have the pretty authentic places like Los Ranchos or El Burrito. Then we have the really authentic places. You know if you are in one of these places if they serve lengua. And not that you asked, but I really dislike lengua. It tastes fine but it's squishy meat.I don't like squishy meat.Is it tasting you or are you tasting it??Pure Tex Mex is pretty authentic I think. Now I am no expert on authenticity, so take my opinion with a grain of salt.We really enjoyed our meal after church. The prices are reasonable. Better than El Dorado in Hudsonville. The street tacos were legit and I shouldn't have eaten all 3 of them.I did though. My lovely wife got the enchilada meal and she said it was great.
