We sat at the drive through for 10 minutes waiting for someone to take our order no one came so we went to the window and they told us they were closed at 9:50. But on their website it says 10. We came with 20 minutes left of their opening. If you close at 9:40 put that on your website.
We were from out of town and wanted to get a quick burger. Upon arrival we were not greeted by humans, but the self ordering station. I guess it was fine because I felt like we could take time ordering. We ordered, but didn't realize we would self serve drinks and the machine didn't turn on until we scanned a slip. No, don't get me wrong if you have never had steak and shake. Please stop in and eat there. Although the atmosphere is not great, customer service could be better but they are short staff and with the high demand they haven't drive through. I could understand I just missed the days when a waitress used to greet you and talk to you like at the old steak and Shake.But again just showing my age.The food was still great.
