I debated whether or not to leave a review for a mall pretzel stand, but we had an experience that was so shady we wanted to report it. My husband and I went to the lower level Wetzel stand (near treehouse) for a pretzel mid-afternoon on Sunday 4/21. We had a BOGO coupon good for pretzel, bites and/or pretzel dog, which we presented to the cashier as she rung up our order of a pretzel dog, cinnabites, dip and a cup of plain water. My husband and I were chatting and not really paying much attention to what was going on as she rang up our order. She announced the total as $24, and I was so busy chatting I ALMOST forked over the money without thinking about it. When I expressed my surprise and asked if she rang in the coupon, she acted kind of flustered but not terribly apologetic. She did re-ring the order, which came to $10 something. (That still seemed high to me but whatever.) She asked if we wanted the receipt. We told her yes. She handed us our food a moment later and no receipt. We had to ask for the receipt, and again she acted kind of quasi-apologetic. Meanwhile, we are holding up a whole line of people behind us.Not sure if all of this was just an innocent mistake, a new employee or what, but it just struck us as very odd. How you would get $24 out of two pretzel snacks, a cup of water and a BOGO coupon is beyond me. For the record, the pretzel bites were underdone and served with a side of nearly frozen dipping sauce. I don't think we will be back.

Went to order a Wetzel dog, and was told they were fresh out so I asked for a regular pretzel instead. Cashier says they're out of those too. The only thing left's the pizza pretzels. I order one, and I'm handed 2 pretzels, a pizza one and the regular, the one I was told they didn't have. I pay for both because I didn't want to argue with the Cashier, who was oddly smug, passive aggressive, and didn't even look at me. Felt like I was the one being an inconvenience.Pretzels tasted good, though.

Me and my girlfriends went shopping and just wanted to enjoy some pretzel bites when all of the sudden we walk up to the counter and was met by the rudest witch ever. She was so judgemental and wretched. we asked for 2 pretzel bites and she was like no. we only have one. okay well it was dead silent and she could’ve made many more. there was no stock in the heater, minimal choices. overall it was just horrible! Wetzel Pretzels needs a lesson on customer service. AND we got overcharged. we paid for more cheeses than we got.

Walked up already knowing I'd have to pay $5 just to share a pretzel with my 5 year old daughter. But that's fine. It's at the mall and it's something special she wants. Then even though it's 4:30 p.m. in the afternoon on a Saturday they don't have any pretzels made and don't make it sound like there's an option to make more. So instead they Point me towards some pretzel bites which are just cut up pieces of pretzels put in a bag and you have to pay $7.50 for them. Yes, they're not capable of making new pretzels, so I wonder how fresh these are... but regardless I just order some to keep the happiness going of the day. Then when I'm going to pay it's nearly $10 and I reiterate that we just needed a cup of water. She says yeah I have to charge you $2 for that. That leads me to Simply reply "no you don't because I'm not buying anything from an establishment that charges $2 for a cup of water" and scoop my little girl up and walk away having to make up a different plan. Lousy nonsense.

Pretty expensive for some pretzel bites. I bought from here twice and both times I got really stale and old food. Wasn't at all happy

Good pretzels, a bit on the pricier side

Just over an hour before closing and wouldn't restock food requests. Your choice is anything that's left...

Had cinnamon bites. So much better than the Other pretzel spot at woodland. Great staff on the first floor kiosk. Will be back!

I remember these little pretzels being absolutely delectable in my youth. I went tonight for the first time in almost 10 years and was sooo disappointed. :(I ordered 1 bag of cinnamon pretzels with icing dip, & one strawberry lemonade. my total was $14.60!Omg I was so shocked. I could’ve easily went over to chipotle and gotten a full meal for that price! The pretzels were cold & not very fresh tasting. It Definitely was not worth it at all. I will never come back now.

Both orders were undercooked. Ordered pizza bites and they cut an undercooked pretzel in half an shoved it in a cup. Looked and tasted like dough with pepperonis. You could clearly see how undercooked it was and when I showed the two teenage employees they said it was cooked. I stated the obvious again that it wasn’t and one of them said “well there’s no eggs so you won’t get sick.” We threw it all away beside the lemonade. Don’t waste your money!
