My sister and I took my niece out as a congratulatory dinner on her new engagement. It was all our first times there, and it did not disappoint. The food was delicious, and our server and bartender were very attentive!

Our server was friendly. We were supposed to get the crispy rice bottom in our Paella and it did not get served that way. Also the savory plantains did not have any flavor. Paella (other than the crispy rice) was good. Mussels were cooked good.

Street parking was easy. We arrived a little ahead of our reservation time and were seated immediately. Mike was our waiter - he was friendly. The beverage service was a little awkward. There were two 1/2 litter plastic bottles of water on the table and Mike did not pour our first glass of water. We ordered a bottle of the house Malbec - it was good. Again, however, Mike did just set the bottle on the table and did not even offer a tasting pour. Also brought a chiller - not sure why. We poured it ourselves. Same with the second bottle. The entrees were all excellent and plentiful. The had three appetizers on the menu and the one we wanted - bread sticks - they were out of. We ordered dessert and the portions were generous. Definitely would go again.

We decided to try Garrido’s for a taste of something different. It was a fantastic experience! Kayla (our server) was awesome and helped a great deal in choosing food based on dietary restrictions. The food was fresh tasting and the flavors were superb! A couple of us had Avila, the chicken was plentiful! One had a seafood dish and it looked fresh (she said it was excellent) and another had a kale dish. We were all full, had leftovers, and all in all, a terrific experience. Will definitely visit again.Dietary restrictions: I am dairy allergic, they accommodated my allergy.

The service was exceptional and our server made great food recommendations. She was very knowledgeable. I loved that we made reservations and she called just before we arrived to let us know she was setting up our table and confirmed our indoor/outdoor seating preference. The food was delicious, we got the paella! Just a wonderful dining experience!

The food is great. Very well prepared. We enjoyed our meals in the quaint, quiet dining room. Service was a bit slow which may have been because only one server was available. However, the owner/chef was out on the floor ensuring diners were enjoying themselves. The food and food presentation are the stars at this fun, east side diner.

The food at Garridos is top notch; we have been there several times, and everything we have had is delicious. Highly recommend. The staff is kind and patient despite being short staffed. If you are there for the experience and plan to be there for a while, I promise it is worth it. So good!

Delicious food, we tried plantain nachos the guacamole was excellent. The ceviche is fresh and the lime taste is just right, for main dish I had the seafood stew that comes with rice, I enjoyed the spice balance not much of ot, but still you can feel in with each bite.At the end we had churros, it was good but they can do better with the chocolate dip.The prices are moderate, service is fast, place is clean and smells good

I've been to Garrido's twice and both times were underwhelming.Their menu is a mess. It's painful to read, and it's missing a lot of items that they sell. Their frozen cocktails they showed on Instagram were nowhere to be found and their huge milkshakes that made them famous aren't listed either.Their food isn't terrible, but those milkshakes were not good. The toppings tasted stale and the shake itself was just okay. Much better experience at Jojo's Shake Bar or M Street. This place is just mediocre. I probably won't come back. It definitely is not worth driving out of your way for.

We drove an hour out to try this place. And it was worth it. The service, food, and atmosphere was top notch. Our new waitress, Kayla, took the time to make sure my mom had a vegan meal by double checking the dressing. The food came out great. We will be coming back to try to the paella, arepa, and the nachos. We had the seafood pasta, Venezuelan Pabellon with grouper, Angel Falls, and churros. The best part was having the owner take part in the process and interacting with the guests! Love this place! We will also have to try their famous milkshakes!Dietary restrictions: They adjusted for our vegan needs.

My family has been eating from Garrido’s for years now and they have been nothing short of wonderful! Their food is excellent and well worth the money, the service is amazing, and even during the height of the pandemic they were still making some of the best food I’ve ever eaten.I’m thankful I live close by and can eat here often, but even if I didn’t it’s completely worth the drive!

I had a weekday lunch with two friends. The staff was welcoming, explaining the food which was very helpful, and showing us a photo of one of their "extreme" desserts (which was highly vertical and looked like enough to feed 4). We each had an arepa, which was a tasty and satisfying sandwich for lunch. (Mine was the "1-2-3" arepa with chorizo, cheese and Venezuelan guacamole.) Prices are very reasonable. We will visit here again!

Food was really tasty. Desserts were excellent but a bit over priced. We weren't told the extreme shake was $35. While it was fun and really different, it was not worth that much. Overall we will go again and recommend this place but next time we will rethink dessert.

Vanessa was amazing! We had a concert to attend last night. She got us in and out. With providing great guest service and she was courteous too. The seafood paella was amazing and the sangria I could drink everyday. My cousin wanted to try the plantain nachos and I didn't. I tried them and they were AMAZING!!! So definitely worth the trip!!!!!!
