My husband and I have been faithful to BH46 since they opened. We were excited for a local, family owned restaurant to move into GP. We loved their breakfast sandwiches, particularly the Big Baker and Brekkie. What kept us coming back was the thick cuts of bacon, real ham, real cheddar cheese, fresh eggs and homemade scallion cream cheese; all of it was delish. Unfortunately today when we went, the manager Vince told us they removed the Big Baker from the menu and have changed their bacon; my husband ordered the Bacon Brekkie which upon receiving the sandwiches, the bacon is equivalent to fast food, super thin, McDonald’s quality. I ordered my Brekkie with sausage instead, and come to find out, it’s not real sausage meat at all. It’s Beyond brand which is chemically filled, GMO, and highly processed fake meat. Disgusted and incredibly disappointed. Needless to say we will not be going back again. Oh and they kept the prices the exact same even though the quality and quantity of meat has changed. Disappointed by yet another “local” place becoming a “fast food chain-like quality.” If I wanted cheap and poor quality, I would go to a McDonald’s and pay the $5 for their breakfast sandwiches.

Such a cute, convenient bakery! Loved the variety of desserts that were fresh! So cool too that they had cider and donuts from Blake's. The employee assisting us was very kind as well. The cheesecakes were amazing! We will definitely be back when we have a sweet tooth!

Had a great experience here. Our coffees were good. The cupcakes were excellent! They have a wonderful variety of flavors, each as good as the one before. Staff was very friendly and informative. The place itself was clean, modern, and had a decent vibe.

Bakehouse 46 is pretty consistent whether you visit a location in Birmingham, Plymouth, or this store in Grosse Pointe. The chains aren't my favorite cafes but I like the familiarity and consistency of the shops. They are comfortable, clean, and modern places to meet up with friends, which is what I was doing the day I visited this shop. Bakehouse 46 always has delicious cupcakes. I'm pretty sure most of their profits come from their baked goods. I am a fan of the mini cupcakes and having several as a small dessert. There are also donuts, apple cider, and bagel sandwiches. The bagel sandwich is decent. It isn't my favorite thing on the menu but it suffices as a filling meal. I would like to see the sandwich menu expanded. I recommend visiting a Bakehouse 46 for cupcakes and cider throughout the year.

My sister and i stopped in to get donuts and we were so excited!! We were not greeted, there were 2 women making a cup of coffee and we had to ask for help when there wasn't anyone else in the bakery. Everything was a struggle, getting info about donut flavors, what was in the slushie machine and if there were any specials. We definitely won't go back. However when 2 white women walked in after we had been there for atleast 10 mins they were greeted with smiling faces and suggestive selling. I guess we were the wrong color. The donuts were dry and overpriced. What a disappointment it is to be treated differently because of skin color.
Amazing treats and service. I always enjoy coming here! Their PB and C cupcake and BLT bagel sandwiches are my faves!

I happened to go into this bakery to appease my child with a snack. It happened to be cupcake day so I got two. We didn't get around to eating those cupcakes until the next day and I was AMAZED how delicious they were even over 24 hours later. I am willing to say that they were the best cupcakes I've ever had. To top it off they were very unique flavors that you won't find anywhere else.
