Very disappointed by the dough that use to be really handmade…doesn’t look and taste the same at all than last month when we first discovered the place…now the dough looks and taste like frozen.. sure it is. We called to make sure and the owner stated it was handmade… he then hang up the phone! Nice

This was a 4-4.5 star pizza until I got to the crust. I like a nice bubbly crust on a thin pizza, and this was just dry - making it fall flat in my book.

I am getting ready to order another Extreme Pizza in Grosse Pointe and thought maybe I should finally share how much I genuinely love their food - especially the pizzas. My go to favorite is the Yard Sale pizza with a little extra sauce. The sauce is out of this world. Seriously. I never thought how big of a difference the sauce makes on a pizza until I started eating at Extreme. I think I could drink a glassful of it.I love pizza and I have eaten quite a variety of them through the years and from all over. I love how styles vary, you know like NYC has fantastic pizza unique to the City; Chicago is famous for their super deep dish and bowl pizzas; St.Louis has this awesome cracker-style crust and they use a special cheese that is only made in St. Louis (it’s called Provel) etc. Point is, you can’t order a NY-style slice and expect it to taste like a Detroit square and then complain about it hahahaha. Enjoy the uniqueness each place has. Extreme has a very thin crust unlike anything I have ever had before and I was so happy that they make a great pizza that is unique to them. I love their crust because it does not take away from the toppings. It’s really cool eating a pizza where the toppings are the star and not bogged down by the dough. And yes, again, that sauce - unrealBtw, they have really good salads and some other stuff. Hahaha I only eat the pizzas and salads so I don’t remember everything else ?. They probably have sandwiches? I’m sure it’s all great.Ok, going to order now - a huge 18” Yard Sale with a little extra sauce!

By far best pizza we've found in the GP area yet. Innovative combinations of toppings are a really reasonable price, could never build these types of pizzas at a place that charges by the topping. No delivery but sign on door says doordash. Each extreme pizza is independently owned/operated so make sure to view menu for this location. Only con- they dont accept amex.

Place seemed cool but the woman in charge was not friendly what so ever and made my friend and I feel like we were bothering her by being there. I would not go back. Unfortunate because it looked like they had good pizza.
Love this pizza place!!! Great food and really enjoy the Classic Music!!! (Brings back a lot of nostalgia)

Excellent slices. Thin crust, that's not like a loaf of bread. The toppings are very fresh. I haven't been since the beginning of the Pandemic . I went today. What a treat. Glad they survived.

Hi, I'm a student at Grosse Pointe South and for anybody in the Grosse Pointe area, this is the place to be for a lunch! During lunch break from school I always come here for the pizza and wings and they're amazing! The staff and owner are so kind and I really like coming here for lunch! We just got back full time at South High School and we all miss seeing this pizza place open for a lunch stop because you guys are open from 4-8pm. Is there any chance that business hours will eventually change because we love coming here for lunch!
