We drove quite a distance and while parking was good and our server very pleasant and attentive despite appearing to be the only one on duty the salad bar greatly disappointed. Not worth the price.The only proteins were diced ham and sliced egg. Also, onions were not cut up. We ordered a grilled chicken breast and it was dry. This restaurant falls under what we call one and done.

Usually a fav spot to grab a carry out - but after the last couple of experiences I won't be returning. Prices are just not the best. You get a pita but have to order fries separate... then if you get a Greek salad, beware that it is nothing of a Greek salad! A premixed salad kit with carrots, tomatoes, and cucumbers (along with the usual Greek salad toppings) and only 1 tiny dressing and no pita. Better off at Coney Island

We came here on a whim in a Saturday night and were happily surprised and cannot wait to come back. The server was kind, the chef came out to visit our table and say hello, and the food was delicious. We especially loved the salad bar! We learned they do catering/banquet and are planning to host our daughter's baptism reception here.

Went to dinner here tonight with my brother, his girlfriend, my 5 year old, and my 2 month old. I love that they have so many different areas where you can sit. The bar area is very fun but we chose to sit in the extra long booth in the family area by the game room. Since it's the weekend their salad bar was open and packed with amazing soups, salad (mixed greens, iceberg, spinach, and romaine). They have anything and everything you can think of to add to your salad and fresh fruit, chips and dip, and pasta salads/veggies/ specialty salads depending on the day. They have an extensive beer and drink menu too. I got the gluten free Alfredo with spinach and chicken, my daughter got the pita pizza, and they got the fish and chips. All of our food was delicious. I was so filled up from the salad bar, I ended up bringing most of my food home to have for lunch tomorrow. They are extremely accommodating when it comes to my gluten allergy and it's so nice to have so many soups, main entrees, and sandwiches I can eat. I love getting their chicken pita rancher with the gluten free wrap. The chef Dan is so friendly and kind along with his niece and daughter who are waitresses there. They always take such good care of us and spend extra time playing with my daughter in the game room. All of the staff is great and makes you feel like family when dining there. I highly recommend checking them out! Kid and parent approved!!

Many televisions to watch sporting events, average food, nice staff - not great, but it fits a local need.
This is one of my new favorite spots in all of grosse pointe. The salad bar is available on the weekends. It's by far the best salad bar in all of the area. The food is delicious here. Really enjoyed the fish and chips and they also had Bosco sticks!! Overall a great experience and our server was fantastic! I believe her name was Mariah. Street parking was available.

We were looking for a place to have lunch after my mother's funeral. It was difficult to find a place on short notice in December. I didn't know Village Grille had a separate room until someone told me about it. I'm so glad they did. The room was clean and bright with nice subtle decorations for the holidays. They were able to accommodate our party of about 35 on short notice and had many dairy-free options available since we had multiple people attending with dietary restrictions. The food was wonderful and service was well done. There was room for additional people if you have a larger group. Food was served buffet style and was hot and there was plenty for everyone. I would highly recommend them if you are looking for a separate room for a gathering.Dietary restrictions: They were easily able to provide dairy-free options.

Village grille has been a staple since I started work in Grosse Pointe 8 years ago. From the lunch combos, to the wraps, all the way down to the pizza...we personally love everything. The service here is always fast on our lunch break & the ambiance is nice for both bar vibes AND family occasions. They have the restaurant divided, half bar , half family friendly. Food & atmosphere is for everyone!!!
