“I work over at Cottage Inn and will try to stop in every chance I get. These people here have been nothing but professional and extremely helpful to me since I started going in there pretty much since their first day back open this season. Prior to this ice cream “season” I had never been there before. They seriously have the BEST options. Maybe it’s just because I’ve never been in a place like this before…BUT, They have sooooooooo many choices. It’s honestly almost overwhelming. (In a good way.) And lastly: Their prices are EXTREMELY FAIR & REASONABLE. With everything else in this world being crazy expensive, It looks like this place is a unicorn…Simply meaning compared to everything else in the world right now, Their prices are honestly pretty cheap. “My husband and I decided to give the Boba another shot after hearing the shop was under new ownership. I spoke with the owner and he was exponentially kind and informative on the changes he’s made and it truly shows with the ingredients and the atmosphere alone. I enjoyed my brown sugar milk tea and my husband enjoyed his peach tea. The difference was night and day and I’m happy I chose to give another chance. “Last week my husband retired after 22 years of military service. His mother who lives in another state ordered an ice cream cake for him (they are one of his favorite desserts) for our small retirement celebration. She texted me when it was ready for pickup. I arrived to pick it up only to find out Brighton didn't have any cake under my name. I called her to find out what was happening, and it turned out she had ordered it from the wrong Dairy Queen. She ordered it at one in Wisconsin! The staff in Brighton came to the rescue, found and decorated a cake for my husband, and then wouldn't even let me pay for it! Their generosity meant my husband got his ice cream cake and we were cared for at an important moment in our lives. Thanks for your support of service members and veterans!“

“Dee's is only open during the summer season. During that time you can get both food and ice cream. My favorite food item is the walking taco, which is taco meat added to a bag of doritos or fritos with typical taco toppings. For ice cream, I like to get the strawberry short cake treat with no whip. They do make sure you get large portions, so I remove whip cream from everything so it's not over-flowing. I also enjoy the watermelon slush. Each year they add something new and are always working to improve their business.“
