Food is okay but hygiene needs to be taken care of. It’s good for bachelors but for families depends. Will go there again and again for food and late night timings.

GREAT FOOD a little over seasoned like too much seasoning salt, I know it looks pretty but it was too salty. The service was really slow though. People in carry out line were waiting for half our time sitting there. The bathrooms were that of a horror movie.

The portion of the main meal was very large. The two of us ordered a lb with rice to share and were very satisfied. There are three large pieces of bone-in mutton. The meat is very tender and has been roasted until the bones and meat separate. The fat part melts in your mouth and is very delicious. The spice rice at the bottom is also a masterpiece. Part of it is dipped in the mutton sauce, and the untouched part also has a strong aroma. I can't help but take one bite after another. It was served with some sweet potato on the side. It was not very sweet but the seasoning was good. In addition, it also comes with minced garlic and tomato hot sauce that is a bit like salsa to match, so that the overall taste is not monotonous at all. There is also hot tea in the store that you can take for yourself. It tastes sweet and has a bit of Chinese medicine, a bit like herbal tea with a strong medicinal taste. You can give it a try.

I remember I used to enjoy my time here, but not any more. I wish they were across the street where they used to be, small and delicious

This place is definitely doing something right by staying open past everyone else especially on a Sunday. What a great business move and support to its community. The food didn't disappoint either. We were really happy with the chicken and rice. It had great flavor and not dry for being grilled. This little spot is great for post anything especially after the Schvitz. They are open till 1am. It's not fancy but the food is YUMMY and definitely worth a try. If any pointers I would give to the establishment, it would be to adjust the oil quality on the salad. It was too heavy and not olive oil. Hope to visit again! Also, a few options were gluten free but you have to ask server. The lamb soup was NOT gluten free. They do add flour.

Food is good, should add more variety & new menu

I've been eating here for years and love their food. I'm annoyed that even though I spend $40+ every time I go, now I'm charged a "technology fee" when using a credit card.

I'm not a big fan of Detroit, but restrants like the Yemen Cafe will change my view. Great food & fantastic service; If I lived in the area I would we there every week. The Chicken Lemon soup was the best I've had in 10+ years. Lamb Haneeth was melt in your mouth tender. Can't say enough good things about this experience!
