We were on a day trip from Marysville and decided to stop in and I am glad we did. The pizza, smash burgers, South West egg rolls, and the fried Brussel sprouts were amazing along with the waitstaff and cook.

I always love stopping at The Boondocks whenever we can. The food is delicious, the service is fast and friendly, and the prices have you forgetting about inflation.My favorite thing to order is the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich. I can't recall having a better one anywhere else. The breading is light and crispy, the chicken is juicy, and the sauce is flavorful with just the right amount of spice.

Saturday night visit found the place mostly empty. Our waitress was attentive and served us icy cold beer. The steak dinner was a special it was lacking in flavor/seasoning, the side vegetables over done and mushy. The pizza we received was paper thin with crispy pepperoni truly over baked. On the other hand the michigan cherry salad and boneless wings were very tasty and made to perfection. Clean washroom and free pool!

This is better than just a "bar" ! This is a cocktail lounge,with a down home town atmosphere. The employees are out standing ! The food is over and above the rest. If you dony stop in and check it out,your missing out.
