Tables are a lil too close in my opinion. limiting seat/table choices for will chairs and/or larger patrons that would want to try the establishment. Even most of the servers are hippie and have to turn sideways to get to certain tables. Also, even though the dark purple/blue coffee mugs are different, I may even say they add a lil taste for lack of words: Elegance even?idk. Not my fault I'm a skeptic, but more importantly I've worked in and around too many food service establishments, and dishwashers tend to miss stains that coffee & lipstick miss, that should have been hand wiped/washed first then placed in the dish machine and rechecked, that's how I was instructed. Made me wonder concerning the reasoning behind chosing that dark color? in the first place??...See if they were the white Or off white color stains would be highly visible!!!.Which brings complaints/ concerns?!!... Were you guyz aware??. Is that why the dark pretty color was chosen???. Would I revisit?, depends on the time of day!!!,...

First visit was great! Waffles were delicious. Second visit not so great. Halfway into eating my omelette I realized bacon was in the other half of my veggie omelette. The server tried to convince me that it was crispy hash browns instead of admitting that it was a mistake! It was busy that morning but accountability wouldn’t hurt. I choose my battles. I refused to argue the situation.

We had a Valentine's Day breakfast there, and it was our 1st time there. From the moment we walked in, the service was spectacular. The waitress was very attentive. She made sure that we had all that we needed. The food was delicious! I would definitely go back to the Cracked Egg!

I had a call-in order of blueberry pancakes, aside order of catfish, a veggie omelette, and I got grits. This food was perfectly seasoned fresh and delicious. Great portion sizes.Had to call and find out who the cook was. Frank… He threw down!

Delicious breakfast/brunch foods for a good price.Extremely hearty portions with the chicken & waffles easily feeding 2, or just 1 person if you accept that you'll be needing a take-home container.The Belgian waffles with fruit and Nutella is a menu item I plan to try on my next visit (another table had it and it looked amazing).The staff was kind enough to accommodate us as a group of 10 with a toddler included and our server was vivacious and funny even with so many orders to keep track of.I plan to make this one of my regular brunch destinations.
