Sweetheart Bakery is my favorite bakery! I, like all of Detroit, grew up on Sweetheart Bakery. Even when I moved out to LA I found myself searching the city for some of my home town favorites. I can't tell you how happy I've been to be back home, especially on Paczki Day & birthdays / weddings... where I know Sweetheart treats will be present! ??? ????

These really kind ladies had created a beautiful cake for my daughter’s birthday with less than 3 days notice. Prices were extremely reasonable, and the cake was incredibly moist. Highly recommend!

Terrible Customer service... I will NEVER RETURN AND RHE SAS PART IS I HAVE BEEN PATRONIZING THEM OVER 30 YEARS ... I TRIED TO ORDER A CAKE AT NOON ON Wednesday and was told it couldn't be done only something basic and simple . The lady behind the counter did not want to service me ... instead of trying to accommodate me she was just very dry and negative... she is way too old to NOT know how to be helpful . in..customer service issue .
