Waited 3 minutes without anyone telling us to seat yourself since the sign was tucked away. Waited 5 minutes to get water or anyone to our table. When we came in at 11am, the entire right side of the restaurant already ate. Left side, all tables ate except 2 girls sat prior to us. We ordered about 15 minutes into sitting down. We ordered 2 omelets and a children's pancake with extra sausages. 2 tables sat down with 10 minute of us ordering. They got their foods and ate. Waited 10 minutes for our food, nothing. Asked another waitress to get our waitress. She didn't come out. 10 minutes later, she came out with 2 burnt sausages for my 1year old. I told her I can't feed that to him, she said "well, you're going to have to take it because that's how the kitchen made it. You have to wait for your food like everyone else. She stomped off. 5 minutes later, we got our cold omelet and a dif order of sausages. Her attitude and unprofessionalism were witnessed by 2 women who walked in and heard everything. They did not like her attitude, sat down for a minute then left. They said on their way out, " we don't like her attitude, we are out of here and will not come back ever. We finally got to eat at 1200pm. If I didn't have 2 hungry kids, I would have left as well. There are plenty mom and pops places better to support.

A bit dated and the food was par at best, went there after a soccer game My son had down the street and it was about an hour before they closed and it felt like there was only one waitress working even though this is not a direct reflection of her and how talented she may or may not have been it's more of a criticism on the fact that it felt like they were understaffed heavily.

So far each time I have been here the experience has been getting better and better. Especially when you dine outside on deck.
Disclaimer- my photos do not do Benvenuto justice...Delicious- I love the nautical atmosphere and decorating. The mural was large and a place I would love to be visiting and eating at. Model sailboats, charts, ring buoys, a few cute signs- very tasteful and expertly decorated. VERY clean and comfortable. Our waitresses were Christen and Valerie. They were down home friendly and knew their food choices. My side salad was so fresh, with crisp lettuce tomatoes, onions, and shredded cheese. I had a warm buttery roll with olive oil mixed with secret herbs for dipping- I'm not sure what the secret herbs were however it was a perfect blend!! . My entree was the Chicken Tosca -a lightly breaded and gently crispy very tender juicy chicken breast with a lemon wine sauce. (lol --teasingly I asked Christen if I could lick the plate- yes rather uncouth?and really out of character for me to think such a thing!! however it was really really good! She knows how good it is and chuckled, said sure if you want to! I did not btw.)It was artfully served with herbs and an edible orchid. (See photo). My side dish was mixed grilled vegetables- yellow squash, zucchini, carrots, broccoli that were perfectly grilled. My meal was piping hot and very fresh. Christen said everything is fresh and made to order- that it is all made one meal at a time that there isn't anything that is precooked or partially cooked. I believe her since it tasted so good!My boyfriend had a 1/2 pound cheeseburger and french fries that were served in a little fryer basket- very cute.He said it was very good and ate his whole meal. I however still have at least 1/2 of my meal to enjoy tomorrow- very generous servings. It was comfortably busy for 7:30pm on a Tuesday night. Christen said that it is a come as you are family friendly place and casual to very casual attire is the norm. Both Valerie and Christen love working there. They really like and appreciate the owner- because of her attention to details she provides to her employees and customers! The outdoor area would have been more inviting if the weather was more like an August day it is rather than an October chill we had.I also give the Chef 5 stars their food preparation is what I would expect at a very expensive (maybe snooty) restaurant. I think it was reasonably priced especially with the great food and warm welcoming atmosphere. Will we go there again --absolutely!!Vegetarian options: My side salad was especially good. The grilled vegetables were perfectly grilled. I would venture to guess that as expertly tasty as my meal was that a vegetarian would be well fed.Dietary restrictions: I would talk to your server- they seem to be VERY accommodating.Parking: Lots of parking.Wheelchair accessibility: Very wheelchair accessible maybe 10 steps from the door.
