“On Lake St Clair with large windows to a spectacular view. They have a monitor inside that also shows the channel where barges come and go. The staff was inviting, joyful, and provided fast service. My wings were hot and on point! The beer was ice cold, and the locals were so friendly and quick to share a smile along with a conversation. This place has such a great vibe! I highly recommend that you visit if you have the opportunity to go to Harsen's Island.“

“Friendly, welcoming atmosphere. Enticing daily specials. I went on a Tuesday to try their puffy tacos. They didn't skimp on ingredients but there was only ground beef, not chicken. It was $7.99 for the platter that had two puffy tacos, Mexican rice, and refried beans. All quite tasty and more than I could eat at one sitting. I took home a deliciousl slice of rhubarb custard pie for later.“

“this place was amazing overall! We dined in and the aesthetic of the restaurant was very nice, as others have said it’s kind of like you were in Florida. Food came out fresh and tasting great. Got the lobster roll , tacos and nachos- it was hella tasty. Our server jason was great, always made sure our drinks were filled, the hospitality 10/10. “I have never had anything other than an excellent meal here with excellent service. Breakfast or lunch, reliably tasty & generous! Just had their patty melt: perfection! Even their fries are better than elsewhere. No one makes a special request corn-beef hash “crispy” like Flaming Grill. The grits portions are huge—as most everything. So much, it’s like getting a 2nd meal to go! Great variety from Greek to Mexican to All American & more. Interior is always immaculate & attractive. Lots of comfy Booths! Such pleasant wait staff…& whoever is working the kitchen sure does it well!!!Parking: Never an issue“

“The best food I have had in a very long time! Everything from the lemonade, to the salad , coleslaw, perch, scallops and hand cut fries and vegetables was prepared perfectly. We broke down on a Sunday late in the season and they sold us a reasonably priced part, loaned us the tools we needed, and gave us the dock space and lots of helpful advice. “Weekend lunch is the best time to go. Food is fast and excellent. Our waitresses Amy 2 and Starr are phenomenal! Every time we go they are always friendly and work together to make every customer (multiple tables) have a great experience. Would highly recommend going for lunch on the weekends.“

“We visited on Wednesday at lunch and came by boat. There was only one other couple in the entire restaurant. I was surprised to see that they have lots of dock space. The sandwiches were good and there is an extensive drink list. Will have to come back when they have live entertainment on the outdoor patio.“

“Best won ton soup ever. It's their special Veggie won ton. A larger portion, more veggies. It was phenomenal! The egg rolls were OK. Not gr8, just different, I guess. Really small and tightly wrapped. They use bean sprouts, though, so that was ok. Def going back!“
