I can't believe the health department doesn't shut this place down , dirtiest I have ever seen . Worker's should be sent home when sneezing and coughing . Threw my order away , never again .

Paid over $15 including tip for a very disappointing experience. My "Chicago" dog was the poorest excuse for a hot dog. Room temp bun (not toasted) basic undercooked dog, A kids ice cream, soft serve- so nothing special and a med soft drink. The drink was the best part.. and the food came wrapped in a bag, gave sorta of a chow line in the county vibe.. serving in a basket would of been more appropriate. Laughed while leaving because I paid that much for something so bad and also because other people were actually ordering and waiting patiently for this s#!t. I wouldn't have an issue if the food even decent. But this dog was actually sorta painful to eat. I liked the concept of a walk up spot like that but their delivery was awful.

It's now called Matt & Mo's Italian Beef but the sign still says Doug's. OMG! Just like my favorite Chicago Italian beef place!!!! I ordered 2 combo's dipped. It was a sloppy heavenly sandwich that tasted like authentic Italian beef and sausage (combo) I grew up with. Was about $15 per sandwich and worth every single penny. It's enough for two people, but why share? With flavors that good, you'll wish you ordered your own...or even another one to go! I did. I've been looking for an authentic Italian beef place since I loved to Detroit in 1980. I've finally found it. The shoestring fries are also worth the $5, so get some of those, too. I'll definitely be back! Try them, they are superb.

This place is so cute and always busy! We love coming here for the specialities that you can hear about on Instagram. They are always so creative and enticing. Their shamrock shakes, puppy chow dougie, and soft serve are some of our personal favorites!
